  1. You chat so much shit every time a Brazilian is involved. I mean he probably should save that anyways, but felt like the bounce on the grass made the ball gather more pace.
  2. Lucky finish somehow. Fact he hits the ball like that meant it caught more pace when it bounced on the grass again. Think Alisson saves that if it's a cleaner hit.
  3. Barca conceded twice in the space of a minute.

I don't disagree necessarily with your main point, but how in the earth is Messi above Juninho in freekicks? Hasn't Juninho scored like 80 freekicks in his career or something. Messi surely can't even be close, and Juninho also hit them from all kinds of distances and angles, something Messi doesn't really do. Juninho has 77 in 20 years. Messi has (I think) 42 in 14 years. So 3.85 per year vs 3 per year, but Messi's conversion rate is accelerating rapidly. Messi's goals vs Atletico, USA, Real Madrid, Paraguay sort of shows that he does score them from all distances and angles, no? Fair enough. Flawed attempt at statistics though. I could say look how many they've scored per games, but wouldn't be fair either. I think it's hard to take the crown away from Juninho in terms of free-kick, but do agree with your general point that what makes Messi great is that he is exceptional at just about everything.

  6. What actually happened? Didnt even merit a yellow from what I saw.
  7. Fun game this. Love a good CL match!
  8. Undeserved imo even if Liverpool haven't been as good this half.
  9. They have really failed to replace Motta. Central midfield looks awkward with Marquinhos there. Verratti injured? Suspended.

  11. Of course he is, his function isn't to defend. Mbappé and him usually don't defend much and stay out wide ready to counter and Cavani is the one that helps out in the defensive work. With that said, only Thiago Silva is able to follow the liverpool attacks. Bernat, Meunier, Marquinhos, Kimpebe, Rabiot all look a bit lost. At this level I mean. Its fine in Ligue 1 obviously. Both he and Mbappe should be helping out with the defensive work. They aren’t Messi or Ronaldo. Alexander Arnold has too much freedom when Liverpool attack What kind of reasoning is that? It's not about who the player is, it's about the system they play within. I don't necessarily disagree with you, but that up to Tuchel to change. Aye exactly its up to Tuchel, I never said different Ah fair enough. Thought you were criticizing the two of them for not working hard enough defensively.

  13. That must be disallowed. Ah it was.

  15. What a goal that is What a finish.
  16. Liverpool are fucking amazing when they're playing like this. 110% in every challenge and max speed consistently. They know they won't win technically so they're just outrunning and outworking PSG.
  17. Playing Marquinhos, Rabiot and Di Maria in midfield doesn't work imo. Positioning is all wrong for PSG. That was a cheap penalty btw. I understand the ref giving it, but there's barely contact.
  18. That's probably one of the worst spits I've ever seen Right in the guys mouth. Jesus. Also headbutted the same guy but only got a yellow for that.
  19. Very nice finishes, but against El Salvador Seemed to have played well nonetheless.
  20. Rashford sent off, but how isn't Bardsley sent off? Man fucking despise Bardsley, seems like he gets away withs tuff like that every time I watch him.
  21. Lucas has done really well and he's super quick. But he still lacks a footballing brain when on the ball, which has been why he was quite underused at PSG (wasn't garbage, just very inconsistent as Mole said). This Spurs formation where Kane draws to defenders and he can run at one or so is perfect for him. Will be interesting to see if Son gets straight back into the team as he's a much better footballer than Lucas imo.
