So game to be played at 18:20 local time, in about 50 minutes, but not a final decision. How they haven't cancelled it yet Players warm up procedure must be fucked.
-
Not sure they'll be thrown out. Similar has happened before, although FIFA has apparently joined in on how to proceed. Do think it'll be postponed to a later date (possibly tomorrow), at the same time I hope they're kicked out as they've been ridiculously favoured by referees the whole way. did boca not get kicked out a few years ago when the river players were attacked with pepper spray at the bombanera, although that was just a group game i think Weren't really thrown out, the game was called off and they lost 3-0 which led to them being eliminated (if I'm not mistaken). I mean it's still a possibility, but it would be a sad end to a final everyone has been looking forward to.

channel 422 freesports if it goes ahead at 9pm. Will not. Seems to have been postponed further. No news on whenor if it will be played at all.

I can see it being postponed even more. 2 players to the hospital with cuts on their arms and head. Tear gas was thrown towards the players bus so a few of the Boca players entered the dressing room with tears. Insane images. River has cheated their way through this Libertadores so would love to see Boca just get the title without this game even being played.

Idiotic challenge that tbh.

Barely seen much of Barcelona this season, how was he last night? He looks very comfortable and all, but looks so heavy Looks like he can barely move at times.
-
What a great goal by Di Maria.
-
Ehat happened?

Right decision. This has been abysmal. Horrible match. Argentina are terrible and Brazil have barely run at full speed.
-
Brazil v Argentina in 50 minutes. Brazil: Alisson; Danilo, Miranda, Marquinhos, Felipe Luis; Casemiro, Arthur, Coutinho; Neymar, Firmino, Gabriel Jesus Argentina: Romero; Saravia, Otamendi, Pezzella, Tagliafico; Battaglia Paredes LoCelso; Dybala, Icardi, Correa The difference in class is ridiculous on paper. Argentina has two great players + Otamendi and then a bunch of average players.

What's going on? England have been amazing
-
Thiago must be the best footballer to watch in the world. Also Englands front three is scary good when they get space to run at the defense.
-
Mbappé has scored four goals in 13minutes against in Lyon.
-
Wow. Idiotic from van Dijk, but than Mahrez tops it.
-
Who's first? Messi.
-
Is Hazard 2nd best player in the world at the moment? Been great today wheneer he's gotten on the ball.
-
Saw it coming.
-
Ridiculous free-kick that.
-
Lovely assist from Meunier.
-
You chat so much shit every time a Brazilian is involved. I mean he probably should save that anyways, but felt like the bounce on the grass made the ball gather more pace.
-
Lucky finish somehow. Fact he hits the ball like that meant it caught more pace when it bounced on the grass again. Think Alisson saves that if it's a cleaner hit.
-
Barca conceded twice in the space of a minute.

I don't disagree necessarily with your main point, but how in the earth is Messi above Juninho in freekicks? Hasn't Juninho scored like 80 freekicks in his career or something. Messi surely can't even be close, and Juninho also hit them from all kinds of distances and angles, something Messi doesn't really do. Juninho has 77 in 20 years. Messi has (I think) 42 in 14 years. So 3.85 per year vs 3 per year, but Messi's conversion rate is accelerating rapidly. Messi's goals vs Atletico, USA, Real Madrid, Paraguay sort of shows that he does score them from all distances and angles, no? Fair enough. Flawed attempt at statistics though. I could say look how many they've scored per games, but wouldn't be fair either. I think it's hard to take the crown away from Juninho in terms of free-kick, but do agree with your general point that what makes Messi great is that he is exceptional at just about everything.
