  1. Seems like Pieters is on his way, so doubt this one.
  2. Has there ever been bother between fans up in that corner since the stand was built. I can't remember anyway.

Sick of this c***. At best a slaver, at worst a fuckin liar.

    Shola Ameobi

I would be happy to keep him if he was 4th choice. Unfortunatly, I don't think we have a quality striker in the squad though.

    The England Thread

It will be, and it should be.

The club has already said it wants a top ten finish, i think everyone can agree, we'd all be happy with a top ten this year? If so, im not even sure what we are arguing about. It does seem like arguing over nothing aye. I'd be delighted with top 10 and progression. If we're progressing every year we can't have much to complain about. If we're happy just to stay where we are then thats when fans start to get pissed off. Unfortunatly I don't think Ashley is that bothered as long as we stay up.

Everton are above us, have a lower turnover and spend nothing. If we can't even be expected to compete against a club like that then theres something wrong. I don't think anyone expects us to all of a sudden become top 6, but we should be able to be the best of the rest, and continue to build the club. That should be the aim. It won't happen every year, but it should be the aim. Obviously having a shit manager doesn't help this.
  8. You hadn't heard of Ben Arfa? Seriously?
  9. I would go for Goodwillie, plus one more striker.

    Mevlüt Erdinç

Why? He's part of it. He knew he was a puppet when he was appointed. Doesn't have the slightest bit say.

The last 10 years? Sorry, but to maximise revenue and bring money in, we need to improve the team, grow interest and make bigger turnovers. This involves spending money to improve the team, grow the business and then we will make money. Cut cut cut and downsize won't do that. He is running a business first, a football team second, just praying everything falls into place. We sign players for sell on value rather to improve the team. I would struggle to think of another football club who don't have the ambition to at least improve their team.
  12. Being shit is not a reason to boo them. If we have shit players, its the management and the owners to blame, not the players themselves. If they lack effort, fair enough, but I wouldn't say Shola for example lacks effort. On the other hand, the reaction to Geremi's last touch of the ball in a Newcastle shirt probably got him out of the club.
  13. In all honesty, Man Utd have got rid of plenty of players who haven't adhered to the club culture in the past and, as far as I can tell,, fans have generally supported this stance. Its more the anti-glazer protests. far more aggressive than ours Ashley can do anything to us. We cry for a week or two, then its all back to normal again. He knows this, he realised it after the Keegan stuff. It would be interesting to see how other sets of fans would react in the same situation. Rooney threatens to leave Man Utd and masked men are threatening him outside his house. I still havent a clue how Ashley even gets in the fuckin ground! Because what they did is pathetic and we have more pride and self control to rise above s*** like that ? Totally agree. Doesn't really help us though. Im just struggling to think of a situation where Ashley would be forced to leave. He's like a fuckin cockroach

FFS man, nobody is making a profit. I didn't fuckin say they were, did I?! I said LOOKING to make a profit. Improving the team is secondary.

He's only here because he's easy to control an he can talk his way out of anything. Great for PR, and an OK manager. Was never the best man for the job. We don't sign players with a view to improve the team either. We sign them with sell-on value in mind. So depressing. I know football is a business, but there has to be something there beyond just looking to make a profit.
  17. I'm enjoying it.. this 40 toe'd fker is deluded, his twitter hatred of Ashley but love of Joey will solve all the issues at the club. I assume you have a solution to solve these issues?

What a ridiculous thing to say.
  19. I would like to somebody make a website of all the quotes made by Llambais, Ashley, his puppets and so on. More bollocks come out their mouths than Comical Ali. It would be quite nice to just post the link of the website every time some idiot tries to defend them. As someone said on Total Sport before, the only time weve heard from that c*** Llambais all summer was when 3 people were lifted at Darlington. We're again going to make a profit in the transfer window. The difference between what we've brought in and what we've spent is the biggest in the league by far. f*** the £35million. We should have kept Carroll and SPENT money. But STILL we get the excuses from puppet, bollocks about signing on fees, money for wages, injured players like new signings. What about the money saved on Carroll and Nolans wages. How can that not be taken into account when deciding how much we have to spend. Its fuckin ridiculous. Wasn't going to rant, but just got more and more annoyed.

So you attribute no blame to the people that ran onto the pitch? The people who ran onto the pitch aren't to blame for this decision, only the people who made the decision. There were better ways to deal this.

Not sure if you're taking the piss or not, but how can this in any way be described as a good idea? How is this be a better idea than giving out free away memberships when you prove your identity. I already have an internet log in which proves who I am, so they can already link me to seat that im at. They don't need to charge me £25 to do so! Whatever way you look at it, this is an absolute disgrace. Far more of a disgrace than the 'Darlington night of shame' they call it.

Banning someone from a forum for something they did in 'real life' seems a bit wrong to me. Fair enough if he was on here as some kind of super hooligan, recruiting members for a firm or something like that on here, but he doesnt.
