Not sure for the Juve game, but I can remember the Champions League crowds we had werent really that great. I was about 18 then. Sitting in the front row of the Strawberry Corner. Could hardly see anything I was that close. Remember the goal though.

Get some mates to go with I was with two of them. It was the cunt behind who was the problem. haha. Im easily annoyed tbh. At the Spurs game there was a lad behind me playing with coins constantly. That was annoying too.
-
Im at nearly every match, but having a season ticket doesn't appeal to me. Knowing my luck, if I got one I would be stuck next to some right annoying cunt for the season. For example, the guy behind me yesterday. He was basically a commentator, but every time a player touched a ball he would mention them. However, he had his own knicknames for them: Collers, Guitiaires The Big Sho Little Ben Arfa Cabman. Annoying as fuck, and I would be devistated to be stuck next to such a slaver at every game

Aye the main part of the downstairs club shop is just full of absolute shite. Was in yesterday before the ticket collection point opened.

Ive bought a couple shirts from Soccer Scene in London. I was boasting on facebook about how good it was to be able to buy a shirt somewhere other than Sports Direct! haha. To be fair, its a decent store. Not packed full of shite and a bit more 'up market'.
-
Fuckin hell! Surely it would be an advantage to create a decent brand image in order to attract sponsors and new fans. Sports Direct can decide to look cheap, tacky and shit to aim to a certain market. It isn't exactly going to work in football when you've got nothing cheap and tacky to mass produce and sell at a decent profit. Its no wonder turnover has hardly gone up since this fat cunt took over. Llambais likes to tell us of Ashley bankrolling us, but they're hardly doing a decent job on increasing turnover are they?
-
I was in the shop before the Arsenal game, and it was pretty much like a Sports Direct shop anyway. Sale rails and cheap printed shite tshirts everywhere.
-
UEFA should bring in something that only clubs from leagues who sell their TV rights as one can take part in UEFA competition. Makes it fair, rather than going the other way.
-
Hopefully one person buys them and stores them for when Ashley fucks off.

Looking at Red and White Kop. He's one of the best left backs in the world now. Suarez is one of the best players in the world too. Its amazing how they arn't up there with Barca tbh.

Since I rubbed him on the head after the Best goal at Villa he has been brilliant!

KeithSAFC30 on July 1st: "Love gettin one up on those horrible c.u.n.t.s up the road! Read a post on twitter yesterday from some idiot saying that even though we've signed more players, the mags have done ther better business! Deluded git!"
-
Loads of the French players were in Tup Tup.

Papering over cracks tbh. There are some things im obviously happy with, like the quality of the actual signings, and the suprising performance of Pardew in his job, but it makes it even more frustrating that we still couldn't bring in a decent striker and only have 3 centre backs. Still lacking at full back as well. We had the money to improve these positions and didn't.
-
I thought he was brilliant for us and was gutted when he left, disgusted even, but would I take him back now? Not so sure. Theres probably better value out there who would fit better in with the style of play and the formation we seem to be looking at. He looks a totally different player to this time last year as well. Watching some of his games for Liverpool his positioning was shocking. He's all over the shop and seems to be the last thing a team playing Liverpools style of play need. He's obviously not too bright and has probably noticed the grass isn't always greener.

Bruce is STILL moaning on Sky Sports this morning. Even after the 4-0 win its still poor me.
-
That mackem forum is ridiculous. They seem to be all like the people you talk too, offer an utterly ridiculous opinion, and you end up just agreeing with them to save a pointless argument with a mong.

That's really harsh and way off the mark. Definitely. I think Guthrie did alright last night, was more involved than Abeid. Impressed that he managed to put in 120 minutes after not having played for so long. Anyway it was a funny one last night. Goals aside you'd have to say it was a fairly drab match and there wasn't much pattern to the play from either side. Ben Arfa was brilliant, I really don't think I'm overreacting here () - he was quite quiet for the first 15 minutes but then he started getting on the ball a bit more. The guy is so comfortable on the ball, it always looks like there's nobody anywhere near him because he has such a confident air about him while in possession. There was a moment in the second half when he drifted past 3 or 4 players before encountering their last man - on that occasion he opted to pass (to Lovenkrands I think) but with a few more games under his belt I think he'll just go for it himself in situations like that. Another thing I liked was that he wasn't afraid to come deep to find the ball when he got fed up of standing and waiting for it. With a few players around him that have movement and intelligence (and we do have a couple) I'm just really excited to see this kid ingratiate himself in our side now. In summary, he's the f***ing dog's bollocks. Ratings: Elliott 6, Simpson 6, Coloccini 8 (MOTM, looked solid and classy after an early wobble, kept Perch out of trouble, scored the winner), Perch 6, Ferguson 6, Gosling 5, Abeid 6, Guthrie 6, Marveaux 7, Lovenkrands 7, Ben Arfa 8 (subs Obertan 7, Sammy 6, Shola 6). Special mention to the kids behind us that were absolutely thick as mince. As soon as they got to their seats they opened (yes, opened!) with "McClaren is a paedo". Mere mortals would be discouraged by this chant not catching on despite 100 attempts at starting it (they even changed the melody to the Sammy Ameobi song halfway through, presumably to take advantage of its popularity) but no, these lads continued this long into extra time and I imagine long into the Nottingham night. Persistence outstanding, brains non-existent. The way some people think behaviour like that will impress those around them always makes me laugh. Quite funny people watching if youre at an away game sober. Saw this old guy get more and more annoyed in the pub at Villa, snarling out songs with aggression, then getting his mate to put him on their shoulders so he could rip down an ROI flag above the bar. The pride, the clenched fist, the No Surrender song, then again snarling out some of the most unoffensive songs we have like he was going to batter someone straight after it. Funny to watch. ha

Im just back in Berwick. Seemed to do laps of Nottingham trying to find the way out.

Agree with this but might change mt mind if Fatty puts black cat logos up on the stand. Does anyone really care about the 'black cat' thing. I thought it was only mackems. They could have a black cat on the strip and I couldn't care. Its only a shite nickname they voted on a few years ago.

Noticed yesterday how good Villa Park looked without advertising on every available space. I hope when this fat bastard leaves, the new owners, whoever they maybe look to change the tacky cheap image Ashley has thrust upon us. Surely the cheap SportsDirect image turns off potential sponsors. Being associated with SportDircet is hardly a good thing. Even at City when they have renamed their ground, and Arsenal where you pass their ground on the train, at least the sponsorship looks fairly decent and doesn't reek of cheapness.

Not sure how tall Best is, but ive never considered him a 'big man'.
-
Whatever he says about his own situation, he's spot on with Llambais. It's similar to what Keegan said too. Ashame nobody ever goes any further.
-
Aye, breaking up the defence that has been so successful. Good thinking batman.

I would like to thank Sky for putting this on. A league where EVERY game counts according to their advert.
