Taylor and Tiote missed an awful lot of games last year too, didn't they? -

West Brom will probably be: Foster Jones McAuley Olsson Ridgewell Yacob Brunt Dorrans Morrison Thomas Lukaku Although they may fancy going for the jugglar and playing Lukaku/Long together in a 4-4-2, with Morrison dropping back and Dorrans/Brunt wide. -

Elliot Debuchy Taylor Yanga-Mbiwa Haidara Cabaye Tiote Ben Arfa Sissoko Gutierrez Cisse Harper, Perch, Anita, Marveaux, Gouffran, Campbell, Ameobi. Think that's what we'll see provided everyone mentioned is available, maybe Marveaux ahead of Ben Arfa if the latter still isn't fit enough to start. -

I'm resigned to him staying, which begs the question as to whether he can win anyone around from this position? If he can would it be the first time in recent history that a manager has done it?

I'm sure the Box Office was showing signs of improvement in the past few years. What happened?

Think that gif is a good place to leave it. No more please lads

Just standing on the pavement with a scarf covering his face.

Martinez has soured himself a bit for me with his comments on the Haidara tackle, but I'd still have him here in a heartbeat too
-
I would've allowed 1 "no" vote as a matter of course, but whoever the other cunt is needs a paddling.
-
Pards is really making a fightback in the poll now, up to a whopping 7.3% approval rating.

He's a much better 'footballer' than Tiote and is (this bit is funny) better physically than Anita. We could've done with him. My biggest issue with Guthrie was his stamina like Cabaye's isn't up to scratch for a top flight PL footballer. I'm sad to see this Cabaye stamina thing becoming a bit of an accepted reality on here. Distance covered data is difficult to get a hold of for whatever reason, but there were loads of articles last season (and one from earlier in this one) showing just how much work he puts in: October 2011: http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Newcastle-Yohan-Cabaye-is-hardest-working-player-in-Premier-League-stats-reveal-article812018.html December 2011: http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/yohan-cabaye-clocks-up-miles-1408521 March 2012: The Mag = "Any idea which player covered most distance for Newcastle against the Gunners? That would be Yohan Cabaye with 5.27 miles." November 2012: Footy Place = "For the seventh time this season, Yohan Cabaye topped the distance run charts for Newcastle with 6.55 miles against West Ham."

So aye, probably a bit further away than anticipated. Some better news is that Elliot appears to be fine. No Cabaye, Cisse, Sissoko or Yanga-Mbiwa on any of the photos so it looks like they're getting a bit extra rest - probably for the best. -

Don't think Colo's going to make Saturday anyway, based on the latest press stuff at least. -
This time last year we were 3 points clear in 4th and were approaching that magical Stoke game :'( How has it gone so terribly wrong since then?
-
Just read his Journal article from this morning, full of the tiredness excuses again. Everyone knackered/half-fit? Sub Gouffran!
-
You been to the circus lately Dr. Z? Clowns on the brain.
