I like Folan from Hull as well, who is on a similar level to Campbell probably in terms of ability/potential. He fucking raped us at Wigan last season, seems a bit of a cycle path though.

Aye, they all speak quite highly of him as well - I haven't got along to watch Hull yet, actually, as I'm usually home most weekends watching our lot. Apparently they can sign him for £2M at the end of this loan, but the lads all reckon there'll be some bigger teams in for him - seem gutted that they might lose him. Not sure he'll ever really "do it" at the top level, but obviously a top-drawer Championship player with the potential to play a part in the Premiership, I'd say.

If I hadn't had a haunting gambling experience recently I would have banged some wedge on Man Utd to win the title after Eduardo's injury. It was nailed-on to be something very difficult for the Arsenal players to get over, and I've been saying since then that I can see them fading away come the end of the season due to their squad not being as strong as Man Utd's or Chelsea's. Man Utd deserve the title, for me, best team I've seen at St. James' for a long, long time. That hurt me to type.

It's a man's game, mate, or it used to be...

I don't think it was. No way was it intentional man Wullie, the fat pig was just trying to control the ball, I'm amazed he can even lift his leg that high. Yellow card for dangerous play, surely? When there's no intention there? When is there ever intention? No-one has ever gone into a tackle in the box thinking "think I might as well give away a penalty here like". Even two footed tackles are usually an attempt to get the ball but they're dangerous and punished accordingly. Intention should have nothing to do with the ref's decision. It's not like handball when sometimes it genuinely can't be helped. How very contrary, it's mince pies like you who'll have this being a non-contact sport sooner rather than later. A missing ear is a small price to pay for the money these lads get paid man, I want to see more blood and gore on the football pitch, not less! From what I saw, Mido looked at nowt but the ball and was trying to bring it down on his boot. The height difference between the players comes into it, of course, and Clichy deserves credit for even putting his head up there with a rogue boot in his vicinity, but howay man, red card? First offence? On the pitch 9 minutes? Insane decision.

I don't think it was. Boot to face - intentional or not is a red card. Plus his studs caught Clichy's eye, I hope there is no lasting damage Bloody f****** dumb idiot. Did they fuck catch him in the eyes man. They replayed it about 5 times and he caught him around the ear if anywhere... I did worry that his ear had been torn off from one angle, as something flew off Mido's boot on contact... I'll wait for PM's opinion, I suppose, but it was incredibly harsh against a player trying to control a ball to relieve some pressure on his amittedly cuntish team. Was that not the triggers for his detonator? Booooooooo!!!! (m) Only joking folks!

Adebayor's Ameobi impression was fantastic today, as well. 10/10.

He somehow missed the ball coming off a Boro player to Adebayor in the first half, too. From about five yards away. Must have missed that, didn't see the whole game. Every Arsenal game at the Emirates that I seem to watch on TV is like a fucking tape has been put in and I'm watching the same match I saw last week. 11 men behind the ball from the away side, Hleb acting as though he will be castrated if he has the gall to shoot, about a million tippy-tappy passes around the penalty area. Bendtner being shite on the ball and giving it away, Walcott running down blind alleys. It's very frustrating when you really want the other team to lose. Arsenal fans as well, fucking shite.
-
How could he blow the whistle then? Why was he always in the fucking way when Arsenal were attacking? How the fuck was that a red card for Mido? Why the fuck didn't 'Boro get a free-kick instead of Arsenal's corner for the goal? How in the name of shite did Adebayor warrant a free-kick against him in the build-up to 'Boro's goal? It was just a pure catalogue of shite from Fat Halsey, but at least the Beasts didn't win.

Did you completely miss someone getting this earlier? Hey man, we can't all read every single post!
-
How many players have done it, then? Because Nicky Butt definitely has as well. EDIT: There you go then!
-
Who are they currently playing for in the Premiership? Sunderland, probably... at least the first one.

Quotes? Facts? Evidence? No?

You can always tell when 2J is excited man can't you?

Should be added that it's a bit different doing the business for a very good Portsmouth side when compared to our dross at the minute. Not sure he'd have anywhere near that amount if he'd been playing instead of/alongside Owen. Still wouldn't have him ahead of our two "small strikers".
-
I'm more pissed off that we didn't get Diarra, to be honest. Fucking class player.
-
Exactly. They've scored far too early man.
-
Meant to be a brilliant goal, too.
-
Did Allardyce have the right idea? i.e. Bypass them entirely?
-
Reading beating Liverpool 1-0, that bloke who was complaining about their strikers has scored a peach!

This thread reminds me of the slime in Ghostbusters 2. It makes everyone who comes into contact with it proper evil and that. Did you see Ray and Winston after they'd been in that slime river man? They were going to "kill" each other. Poisonous though, being serious for a moment, and exactly what we don't need on here. I'll lock it for now, until people sort themselves out. If it starts elsewhere, there's going to be some bummings handed out.
