I’ve not seen him play that often as I’ve said but he’s not exactly the most exciting player. No point getting a player in ‘that’ll do’ when we have two right wingers. If we aren’t going to significantly improve in that position then a year down the line we will have 3 right wingers that don’t elevate us. dunno I know I’m asking too much but I want that right wing signing to be a player other teams are jealous of but I guess as it stands we are lumping our money on a centre half

Well….a positive update

Tapsoba won the Bundesliga in a side that didn’t lose a single game and only conceded 24 goals in 34 games honesty this downplaying of achievements because it doesn’t fit a narrative is just weird. Same for the narrative around Minteh only playing in a shite league

I’m sure it’s not from the want of trying. There’s obviously a very tight budget which isn’t making things easy

Today is really the first day I’m beginning to get a bit concerned. we seem to work at snails pace. We’ve entered dialogue about a defender that a) costs too much & b) wants to stay with Leverkusen. I think any hope of a right winger is going right out the (transfer) window. There’s a part of me that keeps saying surely they’ll do what’s needed but it’s not great signs

Smith Rowe, Andersen & Cherki are 3 very good signings

Not suggesting they’ll drastically climb the table but playing them will be a tougher game for some times

even that middle pack of clubs are making good moves this year. It’s gonna be a much tougher league this year I reckon.
