  1. The only slight bit of positivity I have left is bzg inferring the PL still doing checks. As the last few pages on here show things can be quite complicated with who this sheik khaled is

  3. after all this and all we know you blame bzg? I said IF. And yes, IF a price has been agreed and no bid has come about in 6 weeks who would you blame? If you agreed to sell your house but no offer came about after a week or so how would you feel? 6 weeks, would you still think its on? Agreeing a price and a bit is pretty much the same thing man. The waters are so muddy no one knows where we are it. Noises from bzg just 4 days ago was they were ‘waiting on the PL’ There needs to be a statement from both sides and soon
  4. Anyone still positive about a takeover?
  5. after all this and all we know you blame bzg?
  6. Ryder literally says in his article they agreed a price this is what we are dealing with

I imagine many don’t want to lose loyalty points for a takeover to happen. Don’t want to miss out on possible better times.
  9. O0 In a nutshell. Yet still some of our blinkered 'fans' can't see it. Will be over 50k there 1st game no doubt about it. New manager will be applauded most likely too. Utter shitshow. They deserve all they get. NUFC is dead or at best in permanent vegetative state. No there won’t be So you reckon there will be an actual boycott? Can't see it happening at all imho. Hope your'e right but I just can't see any traction in this with a huge amount of our 'support'. No but there won’t be over 50k. If you take when Keegan left for example a lot of the home games attendances were 45k/44k/43k. It certainly feels worse this time. Think there’ll be at least 40k but no chance it’ll nearly be sold out. Of course a decent new manager and signings could change that

  11. That poor reddit group are still convinced it’s happening. Bless them.
  12. And This time next year some other mug will try and buy the club
  13. The only solution is to try and detach yourself from the club over a period of time
  14. Ed: "The Bin Zayed Group claim that a deal is in the offing, so we've had questions asking why don't we trust them over the club?" Chris: "Well the Bin Zayed Group said that they were close to buying Newcastle United. Six weeks on, and that hasn't happened yet. "We're not saying the Bin Zayed Group shouldn't be trusted but, until six weeks ago, they weren't a group who anyone in the North East really knew anything about. "Things haven't moved forward as they'd suggested they would, the owners' and directors' test has not been started by the Premier League yet - even if contact has been received from the Bin Zayed Group, they aren't at the final stage of buying the club yet. "They may reach that stage in time, but there's been silence from the Bin Zayed Group for five weeks or so, even if there have been claims of further statements arriving, and Newcastle have been silent on the takeover situation. Newcastle haven't confirmed or denied the veracity of the Bin Zayed Group's statements. "My understanding is there are other groups interested. Fans have been asking if we know the identity of any of those and have we had any contact with them. We have had indirect contact with one of them, and we know of at least one other group who are interested. "There are at least three parties interested in buying Newcastle United but none of them have yet reached the exclusivity stage of the deal. That could change in the coming days, weeks and months - as I'm sure Newcastle fans hope it will - but as things stand Mike Ashley remains the owner, and it's Mike Ashley and Lee Charnley who need to find the new manager."
  15. Chronicle “It's about six weeks now since the Bin Zayed Group's interest broke and then they released two statements in which they maintained there were in talks to buy the club and that a heads-of-terms agreement had been signed. "We have had plenty of questions about how we've stated the 'no bid' has yet been placed, and what we mean by that is that although a price has been agreed in principle between Mike Ashley and the Bin Zayed Group, that has not yet equated to an actual follow-up bid arriving. "A bid is far more complicated than that. A bid requires a thorough document outlining exactly what has been agreed, and then if accepted a group could reach the 'exclusivity' stage of takeover talks. "None of the interested parties who are in talks to buy Newcastle United have yet reached the exclusivity stage. As things stand, Mike Ashley is owner, and he will be owner for the foreseeable future unless something changes. "The club is still for sale, he wants to sell it and there are interested parties. But it doesn't look like anything is necessarily imminent in that regard, which will undoubtedly frustrated Newcastle fans further. "Rafa Benitez in his interview with The Times earlier this week suggested that the takeover situation muddied the waters during his discussions over an extension because he didn't know who was going to be owner, and that is a real concern for Newcastle. Any managerial candidate who comes in will undoubtedly want these questions answered as well."
  16. https://twitter.com/ultrastartime/status/1147146089763618818?s=21 Colback coming back haha
  17. Sad thing is, if the appoint a half decent manager plenty will go back. Ashley has the fans by the bollocks. Even if we get relegated he won’t care. He’ll sell off a few players and have the parachute payments. The only thing that will make him sweat imo is pressure on Sports Direct.
  18. So then why don't the Bin Zayed Group just release their planned statement then if the takeover is dead in the water and put us all out of our misery. I suspect that’s the statement that’s coming
  19. Yup me too. Whoever takes the managers job is an idiot
  20. Accept them to what end? It’ll still be completely pointless
  21. That black cloud account is saying #nufc have not been sold just yet. Pl checks have been complete, deal agreed in principle, however Ashley still awaiting on proof of funds. No further forward in last 3 weeks, talks progressing but very slowly I know it’s likely bollocks
  22. Sky gets their info from Ashley/bishop
  23. Think if takeover happens, apart from the obvious the best part is seeing twats like Downie and Ryder backtracking like fuck. Sadly I’m convinced it’s Ashley/bishop that’s feeding them the info
