If you were in charge of the SBRF and you knew that backing this idea could ruin the partnership with Newcastle Utd who donate and create (letting the SBRF use St James park for charity games/functions etc) far far more money than a few shirts sold, of course you wouldn't back it.

Malandro, don't be so silly. I'm pretty sure Newcastle United create and donate far more money/partnerships than this idea ever would. Pubically backing this idea would potentially cause a storm between the club, the fans and the charity and I don't blame them for wanting to steer clear
