I'm at a 4. Feeling engaged with the club and going to more games in the flesh than I have done for years created some
Great memories and trips. Having a manager we all respect and rate has been so refreshing and enjoyable and remains a novelty. I've also loved watching an organised and disciplined, tactically astute (most of the time) team manage games sensibly. On the other hand, I've hated knowing that fans of downtrodden, fallen sides want to scratch at our heels like zombies and drag us down to their level, week in, week out. The pressure has been so palpable in that regard. I'm disappointed that so few holdover players from last year I expected to smash the league (Mitrovic, Perez, Mbemba in the main) have not kicked on. We have of course been unduly negative at times and thrown away points needlessly on too many occasions. But on the whole it's been another refreshing year of re-engaging with club and community.

I thought Dummett played well but otherwise what a bottle job.

I don't care how it happens, just win the game and get over the small stutter of poor/indifferent results. Crossing the 80-point barrier is massive in my opinion, puts the end goal very much in sight.

This smells like a heartbreaking 0-1

Just found out the Premiership season (notice I didnt say their season) doesn't finish till two weeks after the championship season so there may be no chance for enjoying their hopeful demise in our ground.
Enjoy it from a chartered plane

I'm not sure that many of them can cope with that many words. "The bantz" is still the most cutting. A rapier-like insult.
-
There's more Newcastle fans than Sunderland fans so by 'not enough off us' I assume you mean delinquents that would willingly pay money to have a plane flown over the SoS with a message "the bantz". I hope you're right in that case.
I think we should absolutely write "the bantz".

I'm definitely a mongoloid. And yes, for the sanctimony brigade, it the as a joke; but fuck this noise about the most important thing being to maintain our collective dignity and win the moral high ground.
FFS I'm going to laud it over them when they go down. Zero shits given if it is considered by some on here to be "small time". I'm going to enjoy laughing at them like they did at us, it's just a bit of fun.
I'm gonna go punch a horse.

I think it's important we pool together and fly a plane with banner over the Crucible of Misery on their last home game as PL side. I would personally pay for someone to design a giant banner on which a cartoon magpie is defocating on the head of a black cat.

It's unreal. As soon as he makes a decision which is looking wrong it just turns into a mass suicide party. He's taken a broken club, transformed it as much as time, circumstance and financial reality could allow, looks likely to take us back up from a division that's been far tougher than we anticipated based on the easy ride we had last time and made us a proper team with a proper system. I don't get how people can't see that he's trying to simultaneously win promotion and lay the foundations for the future in terms of playing system, personnel and club. I cannot emphasise enough how much I respect and rate the job he's done in under a year. Oh, hes played a conservative team! Oh, he's not going for the jugular! Oh, we've lost a game! If we go up, he is single-handedly the reason that we aren't in the same mess as Aston Villa and have a viable future as a PL club.
I fucking love him.

Xisco scored a 94th minute winner in an Asian Champions League match for Muangthong.
I bought that jersey off my rocks in Bangkok at 3 AM.
-
I listened at work. Sounds like we were deserved winners overall but Darlow pulled off a few smart saves.

Highlights me give now

Not a pen at all

Don't get why we can't just start a game at home against tumbleweed opposition like we did when 0-2 down.
-
What ifs are dangerous but that's three games which have ended 2-2 now where we gifted the opposition at least one goal - QPR and these at home, Norwich away. Would be on 76 otherwise.
-
Stuff like the first goal I can get past but it's the repeated defensive errors from a supposedly organised and solid team. So tired of watching players we have known for years to be sub-par chuck points away with basic errors.
-
Can't really believe we're winning again. We were absolutely horrible against Wolves, and nicked a goal. We've been absolutely horrible tonight, and nicked a goal. I can't tell if we're riding our luck or all of the opposition in the bottom half is just uber-f***ing s****.
It's not a case of complaining cos we're not smashing the opposition. I'd barely argue that we're being efficient/effective. We're just somehow limping to victories and looking absolutely awful in the process.
Really need to improve or I think we'll get dicked at Brighton and Huddersfield.
Take your point but we were very fluid against Norwich and played some lovely up-tempo football.
-
Judging by the highlights it's 2 points dropped. Shocking from Lascelles and Darlow. Should have been a comfy win.
-
Seems like they had very few chances apart from the two goals we gave them whereas we missed a hatful...
-
To summarise in two words, fuck them.

What exactly does Sammy do?
Benefit massively from nepotism.

Update the thread title man

The fuck has happened to us? Just went from champions elect to shit within a few weeks. We're awful.
