It really isn't as bad as some of you are making out. We've dominated possession. Shit teams are always going to score once in a while. We're a final ball away from putting it together. I won't deny we don't look up to scratch, but it's not a complete nuclear disaster.
-
To me the whole side doesn't look that sharp - our pre-season didn't seem well-organised or set up and seemed to lack cohesion, and thus far, to my mind anyway, it's showing a bit on the pitch. We lack synergy.
-
I don't think we've actually been that bad overall, just final third is lacking. We'll win if we can sort that out.
-
Honestly, our crossing is embarrassing.
-
Ba's been far too trigger happy
-
Bigirimana? really?
-
What? no need to buy a full-back? 2 injured in a week. Fucking typical.
-
Long ball is such an infuriating and insipid tactic considering what we have on the pitch.
-
Our crossing is so, so, so abysmal.
-
Have Ba and Cisse even touched the ball yet?
yes many times
-
we're diving a lot today

Our crossing is absolutely atrocious.

I want one of those jackets.

There is legitimately no way we will sign Dider Drogba. I won't correct MKSC's grammar for a year if we
do.
-
While we didn't strengthen, Spurs and Arsenal got worse in my opinion, so I think we'll still be in the hunt for 7th-4th.
-
So they're leaving it until the last possible day on the off chance we get knocked out of Europe? f*** me, they're even tighter than I thought in that case.
Don't buy that whatsoever personally, even if someone came in tomorrow I doubt very much that forms part of the reasoning.
My point was more they may have deals in place and then tonight may trigger accordingly.

I've maintained the entire summer we are waiting to qualify for EL proper before we actually commit to signings. Conjecture on my part but I reckon there will be something in place and if we qualify tonight we'll push it through
Does the EL even bring in enough revenue to fund extra players? Unless it does why would waiting make any difference?
1. Players might not come if we don't actually have euro football
2. Not sure about finances, I imagine a bit of extra tv money and qualification prize money might add a million here or there which they might not otherwise
3. Might feel that, if they don't qualify for EL, squad as it is fine for domestic-only campaign
Taking in all the above, qualification may well change what we may pay for a player. It's just a guess.

Another dive from Torres.

4-3-3 please, we're getting passed around too easily.
20 good minutes of 4-4-2 then suddenly people want a 4-3-3 after going behind.
Not really, 20 minutes of being comfortably the inferior side and, watching as I am and entitled to my opinion as I am, seeing that they are passing around us in the midfield. LOL
