The wagebill (along with Ashley's stubbornness of course) is currently strangling the club mate. You can say what you like about debts etc, but in our position we simply cannot afford players on these wages. But my view is that even if we have some space to move in wages it wont be used to improve the squad as long as Ashley is here.

I don't really give a shit if Ashley has to put more cash in the club to pay Duff 60k a week when the other option is that we sell him and the transfer fee & wages wont be used to improve the playing squad in any way.

Cant believe it seems more important for some people to cut our wages down than to submit a squad of 18 players or what ever to each match

So Dave you think we will replace him? I think the people who have voted for 'Keep' are resigned to the fact that we're not going to be sold and don't hold any hope in Ashley buying players. So might as well stick to what we got and try our best
