I think it's more of a World Cup thing, but I want to see at least one marauding run from a centre back up the middle in this tournament.

This is why the conservatism thing doesn't make sense to me. Blow the doors off early and you can rest players more frequently.

Great, professional performance from England. Rest of the game is just about saving energy/avoiding knocks/suspensions. Bit unrealistic to control the game wire-to-wire, but apart from a few moments towards the end in the first half, England haven't looked in danger. They have also shown another gear. Sterling/Kane/Sancho is the way Ukraine look pitiful after their slobberknocker with Sweden, turned up to get beat.

Agreed. Pretty controlled, good half from England. Deserve to be up, but Ukraine growing into it. Defence looks a bit fragile when under pressure.
