  1. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1185455/Good-news-Newcastle-Hull-Hiddink-vows-play-Chelsea-big-guns-Sunderland.html?ITO=1490

Guus Hiddink has handed Newcastle and Hull a boost by refusing to field a weakened team against Sunderland.

A win for Hiddink's Chelsea at the Stadium of Light could allow both of Sunderland's relegation rivals to avoid the drop.

The Tigers are at home to Manchester United while Alan Shearer takes the Magpies to Aston Villa.

Chelsea play Everton in the FA Cup final six days later and there were fears Hiddink would leave out some of his star names.

But the Dutchman told the Evening Standard: 'I don't want to rest a lot of people because they need to maintain their physical shape and also the way we want them to play.

'If I rest too many people then I don't think it's good preparation for Wembley.'

I love Hiddink at the moment.

  2. Stumble our way to a point and pray to heaven that Hull lose.  Most likely scenario.  No point pretending we are any good and opening it up to defensive errors.  If Hull are getting something against Man U at half time then move to plan B.  But keeping it tight is the way to play it I think.  We are shit, but so are Villa recently.  A point is do-able.

  3. Man U have every right to do what they like, but all the controversy this is stirring up is a good thing for us.  Gives the Man U reserves an incentive to put 3 or 4 past Hull and prove a point.

  4. My dad cannot be watching.  This is the single most important thing.  When he watches, we lose.  He will be in the north east this weekend, so it will be especially difficult to keep him away from a television.

  5. If I was the manager, I would have an agent at the Hull game on his mobile phone and I would make absolutely damn sure that not one Newcastle player leaves the dressing room at Villa Park until that c*** Phil Brown has led his players out of the dressing room.

    Why would that be?

So they don't get our final result with 5-10 minutes left to play.
