A draw at Reading, and win against Burton and they'd be in with a chance like, unfortunately. Can't see Bolton getting more than 2pts more.
-
Plus side is that our years of single handily keeping them up, slowly fucked them more and more to the point they are at now. If we'd beat the di canio team, they are more likely to have gone down then came back up.
-
At absolute worst the mackems will win 3, surely gone now
-
First time I've ever seen a home teams fans pretty much all applaude the opposition scoring. Some goal, some player.
-
Yep, and? Were you happy with draws at home to those 3? Once again shows that its possible to fight for a European spot with a good manager and the right backing.
-
Anyone know who that legend is? Surely deserves an introduction at half time at home to Hudds! Best thing ive seen in yonks
-
Wow, actually done much better against our relegation rivals than I thought. Brighton, Swansea and Burnley at home hugely disappointing, also Huddersfield, Bournemouth and Palace away.
-
The very few spuds fans I've ever had anything to do with have nearly all acted and talked like they have been a European super power for the past 25 years, and talked like we were nothing in comparison. Always like to see them get beat.
-
Can't believe people on here still reckon they'll get out. They are absolutely fucking awful, and are deservedly bottom. They are showing absolutely nothing to suggest they'll pick up a single win for the rest of the season, never mind the 3 from 8 they'll need. Great times.

Hull winning 3-0, Barnsley are the only team left in the way of a mackem relegation
-
Get in Sevilla!

Yeah exactly, makes you realise once again how well a Rafa NUFC could do with a decent amount of backing. Jesus, £30m on a striker last summer and those games we dominated but only got draws may well mostly have been wins and us in the top-8.
-
Those home games look favourable to me if I'm being honest, teams that aren't that great and probably with little to play for in some cases. Maybe the same for a couple of the away games. That said a team that bad it's simply hard to see them picking up 3 or more wins regardless of who they're playing. Yeah I agree, although they have had at least 6 or 7 similar home fixtures so far, and how many have they won?
-
Looking at their fixtures, I really cant see them winning any of their 5 remaining away games (QPR, Derby, Leeds, Reading & Fulham) So, that gives them 5 home games to win a minimum of 3 I reckon (against Preston, Sheff Wed, Norwich, Burton & Wolves)
-
3 wins and we'd be safe IMO, could do with getting them sooner rather than later, starting with this weekend. Our home form is relegation material as it stands.
-
Sign of the times when so many people are seemingly happy with a draw at home to a team fighting us for relegation. Southampton seem to be draw specialists away though to be fair. They've got 1 win in their last 10 PL games, and have won 2 times away all season. Then again, our home record is bloody awful.
-
2 wins from our next 2 home games (how many years is it since we managed that?) would basically keep us up. I'd say all of our remaining games except Spuds away are winnable, problem is we wont win many of them
-
I'd say all the home games against our relegation rivals have been must win, but yeah this one is even more important. Our last 3 home 'must wins' against relegation rivals have all been draws though :/ Palace in October is the last one we have won really.
-
Must win. Lose and we are finished.
-
5-0 loss
-
Every single game they play I hope they lose. Therefore I hope they continue to be relegated until they can't go any further down. No sympathy for them at all.
-
Hull v Barnsley, what do we want? draw or a Barnsley win?
-
Will Perez's miss be as costly as de Jongs in our last relegation season. He was shit yet again.
