For the hundredth time, if you want me to answer your questions, all you have to do is first answer this one: Do you honestly think Shepherd was going to get us back into the Champions League. As you know this, and won't answer my question, you obviously have no real interest in getting an answer to yours. i dont think the global recession has had that much effect on our position.....except ashley couldn't find a buyer It's also had a big effect on Ashley's personal fortune and his other businesses.

Shearer. No contest. Even when his powers were failing, he was still such a presence. Maybe even too much of one at times. Owen... even after four years I still don't really feel like he's truly part of the club.

Clearly the old board were only responsible for things when they turned out well. For those occasions when they turned out badly, blame magically disappears into fractions and percentages.
