  1. Would be up there with appointing that cunt Souness
  2. How about this more likely theory: Oliver is wrong and is a cunt ?
  3. Its gonna be him man, believe not the first time i've posted this but what the hell, he's already said himself he'll never take a job in england, a few months ago, i watched the interview He changed his mind, believe
  4. Doubt its Redknapp, why would he leave Pompey? If its anyone of those 2 its Hughes
  5. Well obviously; that'll be the reason why Sam'll have gone most probably - they've got money to spend but they don't want him to spend it. But to get rid of him and give it to Harry would just be senseless. Not entirely, if they didn't believe Sam would spend it correctly. For all the positives he was apparently bringing behind the scenes, on the pitch (where it counts) we were f****** turgid for the most part. A win ratio of 33% also has to be one of the worst, if not THE worst we've had, since Keegan? 3rd worst, Souness 2nd, Gullit 1st thats because you've only been alive since 1999. He said since Keegan, cant you read?
  6. I was going to say that but feared i may be tracked down and raped for such a suggestion

    Jose Mourinho

Id easily be delighted if we finished in the top 4 and all our wins were 1-0, than finish 5th downwards with all our wins 4-3
  8. I am starting to seriously worry about sections of our fans, the patience amongst our fans is getting thiner and thiner by the manager and the expectations all be it the same, are getting more unrealistic as we get further and further from where we want to be. Not alot of people wanted Souness and Roeder, yet they were given a season and a half, alot of people were happy to see Sam appointed and those who werent backed him anyway, it amazed me to see such backlash after our defeat to Derby, wasnt that our first defeat under Big Sam? Yet its almost as if the hostility started from that point onwards. The world of football outside of our box is stunned by the sacking yet alot of fans on here expected it and are happy. Can any manager succeed here if time is what we need to get things right? Will the fans allow time? Its quite worrying tbh, what if we got Mourinho, he lost a few games, we finished 11th or so this season, some people would want a top 6 finish next season, if we finished say 9th and got beaten by a team like Fulham or similar shite, would the fans start turning on Jose? Just how bad will the patience and expection get as we await yet another manager, is it possible for us to get a reality check?
  9. Looking forward to the game tbh, to see the players response more than anything
  10. i saw nothing to suspect there would be any improvment Didnt have all of the right players for his 4-3-3 style to effectively work though

  12. I didnt believe it there would have been a ubber long thread about it
  13. Sam would have improved us a great deal in the summer in regards to making a side capable of playing to his style of play, January and the Summer 2009 would have improved us further, my predictions: This season - Top 12 Next Season - Top 8 2009/2010 - Top 6 Was looking forward to it aswell, aw well
  14. If given time and money i think Hughes or Redknapp could turn us into a good team on par or better than the likes of Everton, Villa and Man City, but Big Sam might have done the same who knows. We all know they won't get that time before the idiots with their deluded fantasies of Shearer/Mourinho being appointed and instantly turning us into Barcelona are calling for him to be sacked. There would be a huge backlash from the fans if Hughes or Redknapp are appointed though, while Sam was here he had his haters and his backers and i was a backer myself. To appoint a manager who isnt much better than Sam would be a disaster waiting to happen, if it went tits up like it did for Sam, the usual crowd will want rid and those who backed Sam last time will want rid aswell because they will be thinking "well what the fuck was the point in sacking Sam? who we backed!".
  15. I think there is some truth in what Oliver is saying, i agree with the disbelief to the "top agent rang me" claim, i personally think someone else got hold of the information, told Oliver and he is simply trying to make himself look good, ITK as it were. Possibly because he got information in the past and hasnt this season at all, maybe he wants to tell the city that he is still ITK with Newcastle. Either way it would seem to be falling into place, i wont be rushing to give Oliver credit at all though because i firmly believe he has been told this by someone else who IS ITK, no doubt Oliver will be a gloating bastard if it happens.
  16. TBH i can see the likes of Redknapp being boo'd at their first game just like Megson was at Bolton. The fans clearly want a big name, all this shit with Mourinho etc has sucked the fans in, someone not much better than Sam would be a disaster, the fans would have NO patience what so ever as he would be seen as not a different calibre to Sam. I still think we need stability, with a high profile manager we have someone who in time will get it right and his reputation should give him time here.
  17. Redknapp wouldnt be so bad, at least if things are shit we can laugh at his face
  18. It could be anyone, but if its Jose or Lippi ill only believe it when i see NSG on SSN saying "we is gannin win the league now like"

    Jose Mourinho
