I think last season for him was just a blip. Many different factors resulting in him having a poor season.

I don't really have a problem with players like that, as long as they do enough good things. Different option/type as well. I think he could prove to be a good signing. What i wrote at first may have sounded quite negative.

He will score some great goals, miss some sitters, show great technique at times and sometimes fucking shit touch of a river horse. Hit and miss. Haven't seen very much of him, but that's my opinion from what i've seen.

Will get more space in the middle with Ben Arfa on the pitch as he'll draw lots of attention when on the ball. Benny is good on the counter running with the ball as well.

I would be shocked if Carr's contacts over their(and his agent) havent been straight on to him. Sounds like he wants out of France unless the big two spenders come in for him. If he goes for a reasonable fee then we can draw a line under us signing anything of quality at all imo. He will be class in time, without doubts. Bullet proof investment (from a business man's pov) and would give us many things that we need. When Carr mentions him, Kinnear will reply (I only drink brittish tea)
