Ben Arfa's advisors are on their way to Germany to negotiate personal terms according to the same source who flagged up the France Football story last night.
Meanwhile, Ben Arfa has chained himself to Hughton's desk, and is screaming, 'Please Mr Hughton, don't let them take me away!'
Maybe Ireland played Tunisia away in 1987 and Hughton is, in fact, Ben Arfa's birth father.
What about the nine months? :-)

is that not between both of the clubs, the player would have to agree terms also?.Ben Arfa's advisors are on their way to Germany to negotiate personal terms according to the same source who flagged up the France Football story last night.
I thought they said terms had been agreed.
Im sure i read somewhere that he was going to be on 75k a week. I guess that is what they are going to be offering him.
they refused to give Ozil 3 mil (Euros), so it might be doubtful they offer him 75k a week

Wiki says he's a 27 year old, 5'6" striker.
Only 8 goals in 47 games for Mallorca, decent goal record for FC Zurich & Al Ittihad.
Was a revelation for Zurich but don't know if he would cut it in the PL. Great technician though...
-
How could he do that? I thought you had to be 27 to use the Webster rule?
Come on, wiki is RIGHT THERE. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Webster_ruling#Article_17
He can't do it then...
No idea, don't know when he signed his contract.
2008 so he can't
why?
Okay, now I see... :-)

Sevilla's president has said that OM's offer for Fabiano is "ridiculously low", guess OM's president is addicted to transfer sagas.
:-))))) like it...

1218 BST: Marseille midfielder Hatem Ben Arfa, who has reportedly gone on strike, has failed to attend a scheduled meeting with coach Didier Deschamps on Friday as he continues to push for a move to Newcastle. (French newspaper L'Equipe)
"Ben" does already stand for son... ;-)
Quality, keep digging those heels in Ben Arfa son.

Manchester City
agreed - breaks up the "big 4" and that will put real pressure on someone's budget for 2011-12
also gets right up the nose of Manure fans
Expect lots of s*** from the Man U loving media about them 'buying the league' as if Man U bought Ferdinand for 30,000,0000 magic beans.
still a big difference!

how the hell can anybody say Citeh...fuckin moneybags! would be bad for football.
-
If we get him I hope he does not turn into another n'somnia or robert!
WTF?

We all speed, let's be honest.

Now it looks like we are going to have to make them an offer of a permanent deal for them to let him leave because they need the cash and are not liking the loan fee we are paying them for him whereas if we were to at least offer them 5.5 to 6 millions maybe they would be willing to let him, especially that ben arfa is keen on coming here.
Remember they want to buy alou diarra for £6.2m so it would help them a lot if we made that offer.
Zinaldo, you need to stop posting your interpretation of news articles as if they are fact. Every time I read one of your posts I look for the news article relating to it and it doesn't say anything remotely like that
I'm not having a go, just saying
totally agreed
-
If the player keeps digging his heels in though, they might be forced to accept our offer.
Hope so...would love to have HBA in b/w shirt!
-
Hamann didn't do that, he left cos of Gullit.
Dutch and German's don't mix well
What about Bayern Munich? ;-)
-
I've no idea why a Mackem would sign up in January and pretend to be French unless his foresight was incredible and he knew this deal was coming
:-)

FC St. Pauli for me...

If Sam Allardyce doesn't want him that means he is a good footballer. Welcome Zurab...

Well, I'm going to this and we never win when I go...so chances are that were gonna lose.
Then again every game weve had Ive predicted we'll be undone and lose, so I'm going to predict that too here.
So, stay at home for the sake of the club... ;-)

Mourinho has an ego due to being a success, the man is a proven winner in every job. The other two have basically done jackshit managerially. The only thing that defies belief round here is the fact you cant separate these blatently obvious facts
As soon as he'll guide a mediocre team to the top I'll agree on the proven winner bit. But ffs he managed Porto (Portugals No 1 at that time), Chelsea (with unlimited transfer funds) and Inter (Moratti in the back; not much different to Chelski)! I still think he can't handle any pressure...
-
We may as well go after fkn George Graham
Quality manager. I'd have him.
Despicable manager. I'd kill him.
Same here. Boring type of football...

We await to see how Thomo fits in the latest alleged developments with the s*** he has been spouting.
Shut up!

I heard Ashley isn't selling the club till we get to page 500 of this thread, and he'll personally post on it announcing he's sold the club. Dave can then phone SSN with BREAKIN NEWZZZZ OMG WTF story for SSN to infest.
There's only one way to help the page/post count increase....
Press Conference at 4pm
