  1. Just thought I'd say, think the stick he's got today has been pathetic and uncalled for. He may not be everyones cup of tea, but this has nothing to do with him. This looks between Ashley, KK, and Llambias to sort out, so let's back off Wise a bit.

    Bollocks!

I hate the little cockney t***, and it shows a total lack of understanding of NUFC and football in general that Ashley appointed him in the first place.

sorry like, but that's as stupid a post as they come

Sorry, but you are coming across like a horrible little twat... :-)))

  2. I don't want us to be bought out Man City-style but I certainly wouldn't mind seeing Ashley bought out right about now.

Why? I'd rather have our debt clear by some people who can actually handle clearing our debt - and then have some proper money to be spent on players. I bet Keegan would have f***ing loved it if he could be in charge of us with ambitious Arabs backing him up.

No thanks!!! Not in a million years. This guy is ten time worse than Abramovitsch... Fucking money machines with no interest in football.

  3. Couldn't find the proper "Mike Ashley" thread because this server has some internal error...anyway, with the recent report that Keegan has resigned from his post at Newcastle due to the way the club's being runned.. or should I rather use the word ruined?... My support and patient with Mike Ashley has come to an end. I WANT MIKE ASHLEY OUT OF NEWCASTLE - NOW!!!

Kevin Keegan belongs a trillion times more to Newcastle than Mike  Ashley. When I went to bed last night my thought were: "Hey, this was the exact thing that happened last year as well!"

Some of you may support Ashley. But I'm 110% behind Keegan. You can say whatever you'd like about Ashley. Instead of letting you daydream of Newcastle actually winning EPL and become the best, he has swopped that with dreams that "The Ashley way is the right way". And to think I almost bought into that s***...

Ashley needs to leave our club - he's done enough.

    Shoot that fat git... :-)

  4. Who's the biggest joke?

    a) Newcastle

    b) Leeds

    c) Hearts

To sack your manager one day after the transfer window without him doing anything wrong beats anything i've seen earlier.

Ironicly it proves that all the Keegan Ashley fallout news were true

Which makes us all look like idiots

Which gives us the highest honour..we my friend..are a joke, and its not even a funny one.

You forgot to say 'if this is true'.

Mate, there's something going on one way or another.

You forgot to say 'if this is true'. :-)))) I am a joke btw

  5. All ifs and buts, but if Keegan had agreed to sell Barton, I wonder if they had a replacement lined up for him?

Nor sure how true it is, but last night Sky (David Craig) claimed the Barton deal was a swap deal with the other unnamed club, for another player (also unnamed).

However, it fell through as to quote david craig "'they wanted £4m as well as the player", but it wasn't clear whether 'they' was us wanting £4m + a player for Barton, or if the other club wanted us to give them Barton + £4m for the other player.

    Suppose we'll never know.

We wanted £4m for Barton, Pompey wouldn't pay it. We suggested £2m plus Diop. They weren't interested.

Diop !! christ we're setting our sights high.

    Hmmm...

  6. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11095_4078202,00.html

Arsenal's Gael Clichy has claimed Joey Barton has few friends among the Premier League's French contingent.

"He wanted to make something for his first game back and I don't want to talk about it but Samir did well and I'm proud of him."

    Speachless

That comment is a disgrace! As much as I dislike Barton for what he did (off the pitch), i hate the frenchies covering each other all the time. FFS what if Beye tripped Fabregas for his tackling (the one who led to his yellow), which was AT LEAST as bad as Bartons?!?! Their supporters (and the press) would have gone mad...

BTW Am I the only one who thinks, that it should have been a straight red card for Nasri?

  7. another slow news day eh

Obafemi Martins urged to keep on scoring

Given urged to keep stopping the ball going in his net Shock!!!!

    He gets paid for THAT!!!!!!!!

Even worse, it looks like he's lifted the story straight off the official site!

you know its a slow day when you see stories like this, or even worse, when you see "Rob Lee Says Newcastle Need To Win"

"Steven Taylor says fans can roar Toon to victory on Saturday."

Accompanied by a photo of him pumping fist and/or throwing shirt at fans.

Love Stevy T, He has the potential to be a great at Newcastle, loves the badge more than anyone else in the squad

The punching the air and throwing the shirt is not an act with him, he genuinely loves the club, so get off his fukin back

He was outstanding on Sunday, after sustaining an injury that 95% of players would have come off with.

    He will get better.

Colo and Stevy 4 5 years

he loves himself more than the badge if you ask me...

  8. Couldn't give a f*** if he's speaking English or not, the fact is! I think Spurs are going to go a lot further this year, the way they destroyed Roma was fantastic to see as far as watching a game of football goes and if we can play like that I would be more than happy.

They always play their best football against better oppositions, but lose points against weaker teams. Isn't it?

  9. Would be an excellent move. In fact I wouldn't be upset if we just bought him outright for the £6 million.

Tiago is a holding player who is more of a playmaker. Similar in style to a Xavi Alonso or Michael Carrick. Will also score the odd goal.

So a line up of this would be better?

    Jonas      Tiago       Zoggy

                   Duff

Personally, I would go with this

    ------------------Martins----------------

    Duff--------------Owen----------Jonas

    ----------Tiago-----------Barton-------

    Warnock---Faye----Coloccini---Beye

Assuming we sign Tiago and Warnock of course!

    You're forgetting Eto'o man

    ...and Taiwo

  10. Don't know about everyone else, but I have my doubts that Owen behind Martins will work, I think Viduka was pivotal in the front three we had last year simply to hold it up and bring others into play, I don't think Oba can do that.

    agreed
