I have seen him play for a few times and to me he looks strong, quite fast and good technique. To me he is more like a winger or a striker than a Deco type of player. Really thrilled about this. I just mean that a Aimar type of player would still be great.

Is Enrique decent? I'm not sure he's a better LB than Zigic is a forward.

We have many good forwards but no good LB. We can go and buy forwards without offering a very talent and promising LB that had an ok first year and will get even better if he plays. and I will not be glad if he´s not.

Would be pissed off if we sold Enrique - waited 5 years to get a decent LB, then when we finally get one, a pretty good one we end up selling him.

 

 

FWIW, I've only seen the Youtube clips  and although he looks tremendously skillful, he looks like one of those who's only interested in going forward. Couldn't se him tracking back much.

 

Give him more of a free role, if you do that you really see the best of those sort of players. I'm sure Keegan would know what to do with him.

Newcastle United have offered a transfer fee of 12 million Euro for Galatasaray playmaker Arda Turan. According to Turkish media, Newcastle would like to close the deal before the beginning of the EURO 2008 competition, fearing that Turan's price may skyrocket if Turkey progresses into the later stages of the tournament.
