I´m more hinting at the fact that he probably, like Jonas, would be a starter somehow. I agree that he has a good character, more than that, nah. Tough, when you see the bench we have had, yeah I agree, he would have been a healthy option.
-
9 Feb.“We think he has a chance for Spurs.”That Maritimo game ... :'(
It was still right to play him that night. Sadly that can always happen.
-
We could certainly have done with him this season. Excellent pro and a decent squad player.
His delivery is a weapon.
Will be nice to have on the bench.

Taking the question "seriously" - No.
Ameobi ffs.

If we´re not interesting in replacing Pardew. Can we at least look at improve this?
-
apparently Wenger said that he think you can justify the price because otherwise a club like Arsenal can´t compete... That is just not ok to say (if it´s true).
-
The problem is that it´s not just about a good formation. We need to install positive thinking, passing and movement. We can´t have a manager standing at the side line a shouting "get long" all the time.
I´m not even kidding. But is it one man that can make that team play crap so is it Pardew.
-
Are you absolutely sure it should be a red? In situations like this is what I have thought if it was against us, and tbh, you wouldn´t say "good decision Dean"
-
All the money in the world and still have Barry and Milner starting
-
That table now
-
To be frank, getting that lot to play s*** would be an achievement on itself.
tbh that´s what I´m expecting right now

Loïc Rémy will not play in Sochaux on Sunday evening.According to our information, the striker returned to Marseille for Newcastle tonight or Monday at the latest, where he will sign his next contract. The transfer fee would exceed € 10 million ...
Loïc Rémy will have played his last game in the colors of OM against Guingamp in the Coupe de France last Sunday.
still can´t get exited as long as Pardew is at the helm. Hopefully this is enough (+ a cb (with Colo included)) to save the contract.

Something along the lines of he doesn't see Liverpool as a serious rival anymore and doesn't even look out for their results/league position.
yeah, why should he?
-
Was it? I thought it was Jackson that took the touch instead of hitting it first time. My mistake.
No it was Hooligan (a player I like) that probably though he had time since Perch was a long way back in the first face.
-
It was a great recovery, but Simeon Jackson was horse s**** in that game, should have hit it first time.
Tbf Hughton didn´t exactly prepare the team especially good. They played liked they had Morrison and Holt... Think he (Jackson) otherwise is a handy player, like Perch, but not in that role.
-
Well. That was quite a good goal
-
He was saying bringing a player of Grant Holt's quality off the bench is a luxury (he doesn't have) no two ways about it FFS.
Comments come a season after finishing 5th.
I'm not having a go at him, more the situation the club is in.
Was he not just refering to Holts quality in relation to Norwich's squad of players? Hence they had a good option to change things.
Don´t be to sure about that. Think Pardew would kill for a player like Holt (and to be fair he is quite good)!
-
I think if he played in a defensive role he wouldn't get as much criticism. He seems to have lost his legs and pace which he had. Not an attacking threat anymore and should be playing dm or on the bench.
Playing Jonas were he plays now is like playing Tioté or Perch there. Just no point.

Were people really expecting us to play like Barca today?
Going by some of the reactions on here I wouldn't be surprised.
Oh I forgot, were we playing a top 4 no. We were playing a team that had lost their last 4 league games. Pathetic as usual.
They've beat Arsenal and Man Utd at home this season, we had chances in the first half which if better final balls had of been played were scoring opportunities. For me it was a 'meh' performance, we didn't play well but we also weren't as awful as some seem to think.
It was a bit like scoring a 50 on an exam where 50 is the passing mark.
Couldn´t have put it any better.

Pardew on SSN:
Couldn't fault application
Showed spirit in no uncertain terms
We have momentum now
Goalie was terrific
tough place to come
performed well
Debuchy rocky first 10 minutes

Sweepstake on the excuse if we don't win this.
I'm going for 'they were on a high after winning last week'.
-
God, I remember how bad they were that game and season. That they have managed to get to PL in this short of time is still a mystery

The one that destroyed the league the two first seasons. With the right coaching I´m sure he still has it. But at the same time I still think that with him you will always get the stupid cards.
