  1. [Chef cooks up a Michelin-starred meal. The owner comes to see chef]…

“You cooked the good food, but why you not clean kitchen sinks and cupboards as well?!?!”

Wilson’s doing his job just fine. Leave off him

4-1 is getting to be a familiar scoreline! Loved seeing Isak pick out Miley to celebrate the first goal. Feels like we've got a good team mentality for bringing through young players now, hope it continues.

Isak’s at his most dangerous outside of the box, after we have scored a goal. He literally starts beating the sh*t out of our players when celebrating he has me worried as anything!

Watch what he does to Lascelles, Joelinton, etc. He could’ve done Miley a right injury needs to get off the hype train

 Been knocking around here for 18 years but still not found the Not Worthy of a Thread thread...

    It's probably thread worthy tbf.

Apologies everyone. 18 years knocking around this site (half my lifetime!) and I never ventured into that thread had no idea what it was for ?

  4. Thought there would be a lot of chat in here about this. 10 points for effectively going £20m over the total permitted loss, 1-year after COVID. Seems harsh. It may be reduced on appeal. But will they stay up? Also, in their statement, Everton say they’ll watch the sentences that other clubs receive. Wonder who they’re thinking of?

Why would it be PR driven and not from his heart?

His heart doesn’t fancy the odds that we’d accept his apology!

We don't have to go that crazy. We can just say 5-6 days a week for the next 14 months.

So basically he’d be a full time player under Steve Brucie!

Still can’t see Howe going for that unless it’s option to buy. It might say that in the article but I can’t be arsed with reading transfer reports outside of the windows

Has the feels of Tripps this story. Broke in early autumn and wouldn’t go away. This could happen

I’m on holiday in the Algarve right now but I’d literally have paid thousands of pounds to come back and attend that event!! Gutted I’ve missed the coming together of my 2 heroes!! So glad they’ve connected though and will go to sleep dreaming of them talking tactics and Kev spurring Eddie on to greater heights.

Kev’s such a motivator, can you imagine what results Eddie’s gonna pick up now after a Keegan-boost? Dortmund are royally screwed!

You’d hope he’ll still be able to train, not sure what the rules are though? I think we all need to know the punishment now!

He should be made to coach and train with the ladies team. They’re employed by the same company and would benefit from his experience. He should do his uefa B badge whilst he’s at it. Could be on a course with Ritchie and Tripps, keep his contact with the team, alleviate his boredom and upskill himself for the future.

He might not be one of our best, but he's been pretty effective in this team. Plus watching him you can see the joy in his face almost for just being here. Will live in memory for his sh**housery waving bye to one of the opposition. Likeable, good solid backup, won't take us to next level but has shown he can be relied on when needed

He’s already taken us to the next level. Twice. Championship to low level Prem team. Low level Prem team to champions league team.

He can go to the next level: champions league team to title challenger. In 6 months we’ll probably look back and say he’s already done that

As amazing as he is as a defender, who’s a better footballer at CB in the league? In terms of passing, dribbling ability, vision?

Only no-one! He’s by far the best footballing centre back in the league. Stones prays to develop the mid-to long range passing game Schar has, then he may be close to Schar’s level

  12. Looking at their playing styles, Hall seems like he’ll be the long term successor to Tripps in terms of being an excellent passing chance-creation fullback. Tino looks like he’ll dribble and put crosses in, but Hall’s got the first-time passing and touch that Tripps has. I hi I Tino gives us what Burn isnt, just on the other side of the pitch

Fuck me. Imagine releasing an extended highlights reel after your team has been arse raped 8-0...

Can hear *Ando telling *Schar to shoot just before Wilson’s goal on this. Sounds like he was sat close to the Sheffield U commentary team. Must have been hell for them lot listening to Ando’s sick cackle!

Think isak is definitely. Howe said in his post match presser that he sees Hall best position at left back and at a push centre mid

    Could always unleash the Murph

St Max disrupted the opposition more and attracted extra defenders. Any coincidence Isak has appeared more marked with less room this season ?

But but but, St Maxi’s xG and xA shows he’s a nob, so Gordon-Barnes must be better for us

(I totally agree with you btw - stats don’t show Maxi’s value. Perhaps opposition average position maps when they play is with Maxi would - defenders almost definitely deeper and midfield pulled apart as someone’s got to double up)
