It gets sung quite a few times. Hearing the whole stadium singing it is something else, but it only lasts for one chorus then the east stand/milburn/lower leazes stops while Level 7 and 'the corner' keep it gan for a bit longer.
As sung at Blackburn:
Super, Super Sib,
Super, Super Sib,
Super, Super Sib,
Super Sibierski
Anton Sibierski,
Du Du Du,
Hes big and French and Bald,
Hey!
Du Du Du!
they gave them lot out at man city
No, they were the testimonial scarves that were left over from...well the testimonial.
I will have my scarf at the match, but I doubt many people will bring theirs back.
Should have got the men in the turnstiles to hand them out instead of the people inside.
I got mine. They fall apart, when everyone was waving them there was fluff and string flying all over the place. The testimonial ones were much better quality. I'm not moaning though, they are still decent. But I doubt ev ery season ticket holder will take them back to matches...
I was there the whole time. The only reason the protest ended was because they started forcing us out with the horses. there was still a good couple hundred there when it ended.
Chants were:
Sack the board
Shepherd out
Freddy shepherd is a wanker
You fat bastard
Your just a fat greedy bastard
However, some people were chanting for Bobby Robson and Shearer. Also all the usual Newcastle songs were sung.
Me mate caught a video on his phone...should be up sometime tonight I suppose.
I had a 35 foot banner which looked the part, we all agreed to move down onto the second back row but some charvers went and sat on the back row, so we just ended up moving back blueupset.gif
It will be over the balcony for all other games. And as for league games, most of the core members sit in level 7, just it's harder to create an atmosphere as not as many people stand and so forth., but still it's usually a good atmosphere up there for most matches. We were very loud last night, but songs were too fast and too repetative. It was a good laugh and I enjoyed the match.
