Probably! Aye it's him he's talking about, but it's likely to be a load of shite. That 'article' is just a load of shite from a very bitter individual. He even says 'criticised a Toon fan who is now in the top 5 Newcastle United fans'

Aye, the first 3 blocks of the Leazes Corner stood (F, E & D). The back rows of C & B stood, and then most the bottom half of A stood. So only around half of the actual LC were there with the intention of standing and singing. Heres some pics, dunno if they've been posted... http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y22/jrtoonarmy/P8130206.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y22/jrtoonarmy/P8130207.jpg

I'd rather have a shite view and be able to stand all match and sing. Not that it matters, we shouldn't be argueing amongst eachother over which stand is best. Whilst the atmosphere was pretty decent in the Leazes Corner, the rest of the ground seldom joined in. It doesnt help that we have a stand full of corporate bars and shit.

Where were you sitting? Gallowgate lower tier. They sounded better last season with 1 or 2 blocks of fans than they did with 3 or 4 blocks of fans. & you, along with most others around there, created a really good atmosphere and sang your hearts out, yes? (which the corner so obviously didnt do) SINGING SECTION, no f***ing good if they dont sing much And yes, i sang my heart out for quite a bit of the match, does it matter if i did or not? Gallowgate wasnt created to make a atmosphere, the singing section was. If people have that mentality then the atmosphere is always going to be f.ucking shit man. Singing section or not, it shouldn't matter.

The prices the avarage football fan has to pay are just stupid. Modern football is rubbish. -

Me and 2 mates renewed today. We got ours in the Leazes corner (all 3 of us had been in the leazes L7, and only 2 of us sat nexto eachother). We asked to be in block D towards the back. The man serving us sat typing away at his computer for a few mins, and then told us we were sorted, all 3 of us together, told us our seat details and everything. So it must be first come first serve? -

Pretty happy with the student price, £330 is much cheaper than I expected. I payed £429 last season when I was only 16 which is a disgrace imo. -
Because they don't?

Be interesting to see how they steward it; I think you're right and that loads will (or at least want to) stand. All the lads off TU will be applying together (hopefully around the 50 mark) and we won't be sitting. I'm also pretty sure most of the people who stood in the Leazes this season will move to the singing section aswell. It won't be much of a singing section if everyones sitting down...

Block 'N' doesn't exist. Leazes Level 7 has 5 blocks, and not 6. 1 block holds roughly 500. We need to offer like 3,000 seats to away fans. So thats like 6 blocks isn't it.... http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2202/2508378287_f0445eb301.jpg

Looks like I'll be made to move. I would have moved to the singing section regardless. The Ultras will also be occupying this singing section, so a warning in advance to those who don't like to wave their shoes around

I'm pretty sure more players would have got their names chanted if they had stuck around a little longer. They seemed to stand around in the centre circle for a minute or 2 and then they went back in...
-
No... Can't really remember much of it, thank god.

Pretty much anything those twats come up with actually. Maybe next time a player makes his debut we should just boo. Then sit back down in our seats and eat our prawn sarnies.

It's a shame most people don't even know the right words to the chorus

Depends which Mackem supporters you ask - some say it means 'Follows the Mackems' others will tell you it means 'F*** the Mags' Of course it means "f**k the mags" Those who say the former are liars. They are OBSESSED with us. Even the reasonably level-headed ones all toe the party line. Have to agree, I've heard they chant more about us than they do their own team.
