i feel sorry for city fans, i live in manchester and they are a cheeky bunch, but they have great fans and i hope they get it sorted out.
and i wouldnt wish souness on anyone.

big sam is trying to force the issue one way or another here and i cant blame him.
if he goes, i think its nailed on we will replace him with anelka.
Q more 'big sam to nic anelka' headlines.
-
barton shouldnt get anything from man city imo.
-
strong rumour in manchester that he is on the verge of signing, just been on century fm, £20m.
surely spuds wouldnt sell? it sends out the wrong message completely that!
-
I hope not we can do better than him now we have money to spend!
ben haim or brown?
-
the talk in manchester is that wes brown is on his way as well
-
its on the legends down here as well, spotted at melwood and all that
-
much better move for them than ranieri imo
-
Well if Barton chose a club just because of the money i wouldnt want him here!
i think its fair to say that most players recently have chosen us because of money.
parker, duff and owen to name just 3

2 weeks ago their site was telling everyone that there was no sense in letting Bramble leave the Club.
They are now using the word 'lummox' to describe him.....
As far as we can tell, it's the football club who play at the JJB looking to capture Bramble - not the rugby league outfit....Sort of an embarrassing contradiction.
Two blokes two opinions? - You'll find that most media channels have different Journos with different views
Moreover, I think that dot com said that the decision to let Bramble go was an incredibly quick one given that every player "started from a clean slate" with Allardyce.
Yes Bramble can be great on his day (twice against Chelsea at SJP spring to mind), but his day is all too rare in 38 league games.
Bramble can be class but more often than not is a lummox....
Contradictory performances by Bramble surely lead to contradictory reporting by dot com
Nufc.com have their strengths and weaknesses, and whatever your view on site advertising surely they must be commended for the hard work and effort that they put in 365 days of the year.
There is such a dearth of quality analysis being written about this club by professional journalists that I personally pay more attention to Niall and Biffa over Louise Taylor, Bob Cass, Lee Ryder, and Alan Oliver any day.
contradictory performances???
he hasnt played since being laybelled as having england potential and then a 'lummox'.

I don't agree with quite a bit they have to say, but I've never seen the site advertised as impartial - it's their own views and the main site is pretty much 100% op ed. If you want middle of the road blandness that doesn't tread on any toes read the programme (Or do they still make Black & White magazine?)
im not looking for impartial, im looking for consistent, as im pretty sure most fans are

Wigan peer:
Latics looking
at lummox
Our man in the mint balls factory tells us that former Magpies Titus Bramble is currently mulling over a contract offer from Wigan, with Birmingham City waiting in the wings.
As far as we can tell, it's the football club who play at the JJB looking to capture Bramble - not the rugby league outfit....
from . com today.
only the other week they were claiming he had international potential etc?
they have a cheek laughing at anal, they are no better
-
signed for west ham according to ssn
-
£40m and we're bringing in dogshit like Viduka and Barton
two good signings if you ask me.
if we get ben haim it will be a great start.
still think we need to sign a big name to signal our intentions
-
its on the back page of the boro local paper that he has signed for us apparently?
-
tugay? are you serious? im pretty sure he is about 33!
You're pretty wrong, he's 36 and 37 in august.
that makes the suggestion even more stupid!!!
if eldiablo has his way, tugay will be making the 'killer pass' for us when he is knockin on 40!
jesus wept!
-
What an excellent bit of business that is.
Don't get bluddy Barton though! As someone said - Sidewards step. We could do worse than Tugay for a year or two imo, someone who can play that killer ball.
tugay? are you serious? im pretty sure he is about 33!
we have already got emre, who was always hindered by parker imo.

Superb piece of business if true.
