  1. I hope that you and the other lads can take the NUSC forward as we need a supporters club, only time will tell but I hope that it can move on from its starting position.
  2. I don't see any need for an apology for having varying opinions, it's always like that with football and now is probably worse than what could be classed as normal.
  3. I didn't say that he shows respect but I don't think that he doesn't either, I'm not even sure how you measure respect. He's possibly lied to us, or at least stretched the truth so I can understand a lack of respect if that's the case but none of us know if that's what has happened. We're in a state of limbo and I think that will be the case for the next 2 to 3 weeks, we need to get to that time and see what happens after that. Something has to happen at that time as the current situation just can't go on for much longer. I can understand why people want some communication but we're unlikely to get that until the sale either goes through or the club comes off the market. Ashley communicated through the club magazine and might do the same again if he stays. He's not involved with the day to day running of the club so has no reason to say anything on a regular basis. That's the job of Llambias, something he hasn't done, either because he will not or cannot, not everybody feels comfortable when speaking to the masses. If Ashley stays then we need something like a mission statement from him, after that it's down to those he employs to do the day to day communicating, not him.
  4. You've got every right to be pissed off and I think once the club is either sold or taken off the market then something will be said. Something has to happen if the club is to move forwards, things can't stay the way they are at the minute.
  5. Tom, I'm not trying to pick but what would Ashley have to do which would show that he was respecting the fans and club?
  6. I think it's about 60/40 that we'll not have a new owner anytime soon.
  7. They raised over £200,000 last night at a dinner which was well attended. I have some stories if I remember them but I couldn't put them in here as I know where it would take this. Richard Keys and Sir Alex were having a dig at somebody who turned up.
  8. You've got it, that's exactly what NUSC should be doing if they want to be inclusive and not appear to be a group of people who have only one clear goal.
  9. Are you trying to get another thread locked?
  10. I'm not sure that the majority do want Ashley out because they want him out specifically. I think the majority just want the club run in a professional manner and they want the club to start moving forwards again. The last 4 months have been shit and people want an end to that and don't think Ashley can change his position and get the club back on a good footing. If he's in a position where he has to stay then to do that he's got to win over the trust of the fans, that isn't an option for him, it's a must do.
  11. You're right, it doesn't make any sense but it's true.
  12. Am I right in thinking that NUSC are asking us not to believe the press yet they base a boycott around press reports?
  13. It doesn't seem to have evolved so far yet things they protest about have changed.
  14. "No More Geordie Cash For Ashley."
  15. It's catch 22 for us, he's not what we want while at the same time we can't afford to keep bringing managers in because the players will be clueless as to what's expected of them.
  16. He does know the score and has said that in his quotes, I can't see anything wrong with anything that he's said.
  17. The article title doesn't fit with the quotes.
