Gouffran ? If I'm right he'll have kept Gouffran as a cheap option who isn't likely to play much.
-
I didn't expect this, if Rafa wants him it can only be as a backup player on the cheap and a bit of 'better the devil you know'.
-
I thought Rafa might have kept him as he seemed to like him, a good thing from this is that it shows that Rafa is brutal and will only keep players who he feels will make a contribution.

The link isn't right https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/cheick-tiot%C3%A9-rip.1369248/

He was great until a former manager tried to turn him onto something he wasn't.
-
That was Leon Best. I've just seen it on Sky. Best had to go off injured.
-
Did Harper elbow him in his thigh?
-
I can't get my head around this.
-
Shit, I didn't expect that. RIP.

I think those who bought it online will get it soon as they were supposed to have been posted yesterday.

We don't know that it's not Rafa taking his time, he's got a finite transfer budget that he can only use once. It could be that he's looking at each possible signing and thinking that if he has to pay X for one player he can only pay Y for another so has a list of players and has to balance how much he spends on each one.

The kid seems to have had some good times as well as bad.
-
I'm not sure I would have seen it that way if that happened to one of my kids.

It's also on the BBC. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-40143165

Gayle missed a third of our season in a less competitive and demanding league, anybody coming in is likely to get a good amount of game time next season.
-
Not if they have any confidence in their ability as they'd expect to start for both.
-
I'm a bit worried about the Brighton factor as well. Not only location wise but because looking at their strikers he will know he is more likely to be top man there. Any footballer with ambition would rather work with Rafa than Hughton. If he chooses Brighton then he's not the type we want anyway as it will be for an easier short term.
-
Get out of here.
-
Abraham seems to have the knack of being in the right place at the right time and that's important for any forward. I think he'd do well for us next season if we do get him.
-
I doubt he'll ever get in my good books but if he's changed for the better and now has ambitions for the club then I can live with it. If he's allowing Rafa to get on with his job then he's not a problem.

This is worth a read if you can live with the shitty adverts and video. http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/newcastle-truly-united-behind-rafa-13112504

I've just noticed that I've received an e-mail today for my renewal, at last.
-
Why should a university student be in the family area? Because they are young adults? My main gripe is that others who are on automatically renewal don't get called out. Last season I sat next to some bloke and his son who was clearly over 18, the other side of me was two middle aged people, non of them had a kid with with them. So either they are being allowed to keep their tickets despite their age, or they have a child's season ticket and using that to get an adult in. My question is why was I allowed in there in the first place when now 6 months later I have been kicked out deposited there being no change in circumstances? In all honesty I'm not that bothered as I've been moved to a similar area of the ground with only a small increase in price and hopefully I won't be surrounded by radgies. Probably because it was a half season ticket and they just wanted to fill some available seats. Now it's a new season and they are making those seats available to family first. Should have still placed me to available seats elsewhere. People who arn't renewing still have another couple of weeks to change their mind, so the seats shown to me today would have been available back in December. Shouldn't you just be glad that you had half a season at a reduced price rather than complaining?
