It's not that complicated. If we want MGW and are willing to pay 50/60m, Forest might not have a choice... in the same way if City came in for Bruno. Anderson is our 5th choice midfielder because he's young and we have 4 central midfielders who cost about 200m to aquire. That doesn't make him a bad player or someone who isn't valuable.

I suspect that Eddie won't be overly pleased at having to sell Anderson. We need to back him heavily in this window.

We do have a habit of undervaluing our players. Longstaff will be going nowhere, especially not now.

Also, no wonder we haven't signed Trafford yet. Reckon we will see quick movement on that next week.

I've long suspected this could be a busy window. Too much noise around too many players. I think we need it too. Possibly another 2/3 Livramento typed deals in the pipeline... and a couple of bangers.

This also means we might look at a CM. If we do, it HAS to be a CDM to give us that option.

I assume people are mis understanding, Forest will only have to account for 6/7m of the Anderson deal, today. Presumably with their sales they've got the wriggle room to do that. It's not like they've now lumbered themselves with a 35m PSR problem... once again that can gets kicked down the road.

Honestly chuffed for Anderson mind. Got himself a big boy move and can go carve himself a career. He's a good player, with a thirsty attitude, he will do well at Forest. We've got a good deal and we need to move on to bigger things.

50m MGW would seem fair.
