Thanks for this thread. Oh sweet PL.

Trippier was shocking at LB today. I never want to see that again.
-
Pleased to see some level heads in here. The guys clearly knackered, if not physically, mentally. Before Wolves he was in the form of his life. Needs more rest where possible. We also have Krafth back, who can be used when we are already ahead in games.
-
He actually looks class at both ends. I really don't see a weakness in his game.
-
I think the lesson to learn is that in the CL we need to be harder to beat. If I were Howe, I'd look for a old school DM for these games and play Bruno further forward. Obviously that's if or when we qualify again. Remember Fergie regularly binned his 442 in the CL and stuck in someone like Park or Darren Fletcher to give them more solidity. We couldn't afford to concede first.
-
Just to be absolutely clear, anyone wanting Tino to play RB over Trippier for anything other than freshness reasons, wants their heads checked. Trippier has been one of the best right backs in the world for like 3 seasons now and up until recently was in the form of his life. Tino can slot in at left back and I'm sure he will excel there during Burns absence and make the position his own but let's not create a problem that doesn't exist.

Trippier can't play left back. That's clear now.
-
Proud regardless.
-
The good news is that we have our left back in this lad.
-
Trippier that's shocking.

Trippier can't play left back.

They are going to score a second here.
-
Trippier man. Stop putting us in trouble.
-
Notes: Hall hasn't worked. Bring Miggy on and switch it up. Again they took their only good chance. We didn't. Trippier just needs to pass to Wilson and its 1-0 to us. No bookings in the CL like?
-
Hall needs to be left back like. I'm convinced anywhere else is right for him right now.
-
The plan is for pace in the final stages IMO. Hummels won't want Miggy and Gordon chasing him down in the last 30 minutes.
-
Pope Tripper Lascelles Schar Hall Bruno Longstaff Willock Livramento Joelinton Wilson Perhaps, Willock and Joelinton switched.
-
Basically Real or Barca.
-
I've been back and forth and I reckon this is the way to go: Pope Trippier Lascelles Schar Tino Bruno Longstaff Willock Miggy Joelinton Gordon I think IF Livramento works at left back, it could actually be an upgrade on Burn. I don't like the idea of moving Trippier from right back for any length of time. He's pretty much been player of the season in that position. I'd also give Wilson a rest from starting this. The team above is a solid base. We can bring Wilson on to nick the game in the second half. It also keeps Wilson fresher for Bournemouth.

Let's cross our bollocks that Isak comes back and stays back. Feels key to bouncing through to January.
-
Tonali (season) Anderson (End of december) Burn (start of January ) Murphy (February) Targett (February) Botman (unknown) Manquillo (unknown) Barnes (January earliest) Isak (2 weeks) I've never seen out like this. Nearly a full 11.
-
We certainly won't be able to go wild but I reckon we've got enough in the kitty for one signing and we can always do a similar deal to Halls etc. There's always a way.
-
We 100% will be signing players in January. With our injuries, we've no choice. In fact, we may do something we don't tend to do and look at bona-fide short term loans.
