You could pick the best 2 players from a dozen sides and argue they would be in threat of being relegated. Our reasoning for signing players should be that we are an ambitious club who wish improve each year, not because we are worried about relegation and not because other clubs will "over take" us. The latter is absolute tosh anyway, just as many clubs slit their own throat through poor transfers, as propel themselves up the league from good ones. I tend to agree with IC with regards to the hysteria. Yes Rafa has had another pop at the owner, yes he is being messed about but this has been the case for 18 months as far as I can see. 5/6 days ago he was talking about being here for 5/10 years. Of course, there was a lot of ifs and buts that went with those comments. Mike Ashley should be hounded out, but nothing's changed, we knew he was a cunt after the way he screwed over Keegan.
