Yeah and we have nowt on the bench.
-
Murphy's position is weird. Hes playing right wing, yet Lewis is playing left back on the other.
-
Murphy has been brilliant or something better than average.
-
ASM letting us down for a change.
-
Its Martin Tyler man, he still thinks its 1997 and Andy and Keyesy are in the studio.
-
Yeah and I think I've massively over estimated Wolves. We are always better with 3 of Rafas CBs playing. Much more compact.
-
ASM is very quiet down the middle.
-
The only thing making this game even is that we have a fairly strong 11 on the pitch. Theres absolutely no sign of a coherent plan or formation.
-
Sky and BBC saying its Schar in centre mid and Fraser right back. Fair play to him for going to new levels.
-
Aye I heard that too. We can live in hope. What he say?
-
Aye because adult men in pubs talking about the game are well known for being thoughtful and reserved on their views on shite football.

Surely alarm bells should be ringing at the PL? The potential to lose the so called "big six" forever is staring them in the face (I'm aware these proposals are along side playing PL games, for now). At the very least, it's going to compromise the standard of the domestic leagues as these clubs would surely prioritise the European league as a competition? Perfect time for PIF to come in and remind them of the money they are willing to plough into the PL.

Froggy does well being able to breath with his head buried so far in the sand. I'm pleased Man Utd won. OGS staying in the job means you continue on your downward course.

If PIF etc are the only chance of MA selling the club, they may insist on the club remaining in the PL for the sale to go though and with that in mind MA might have to think twice about sticking by old Brucey Boy. It's one thing taking a gamble that Bruce can keep us up, it's another taking that gamble with 350m at stake. I wonder if any private conversations will take place between AS and MA about a change of management. "Hey Mike, I will pay an extra million if you pay off Bruce and bring in xxx."

Is there anyone who wouldnt simply have ASM, Miggy, Fraser and Wilson as a front 4?
-
It's part of their job to watch the game and comment on them. They might not want to risk watching the game on a stream.

I have started watching the kick off, with True Geordie and a few other fans. Whether you like them or not, doesnt matter because they spend the time chatting about the game and debating issues, often getting quite heated. For example, yesterday they tore apart Harry Maguire's form and Project Big Picture (this is fans of Liverpool, Chelsea etc.). It was miles away from SS propaganda and quite heartening to listen too. I hope that these shows are the future. Fans talking about the game, instead of ex pros and journalists who have their own self interests. Sick of puppets nodding along to whatever they think there bosses want them to say. For example, looking at SSN this morning, you would not know that NUFC fans had donated 16k to a food bank in protest against the 15 quid box office price of the game.

Football is too subjective to ever let VAR work. Doesn’t matter who operates it, you’ll always get different viewpoints and decisions that are deemed wrong, so why not just let one man on the field do it and get the same number of controversies? Why hold the game up, slow it down and draw lines? I was always Pro VAR but I just dont think the public has the appetite anymore.
-
I think it could work if the on field ref is given say 20 seconds to decide if someone is offside. No "lines" on screen. As for pens, god knows. We have had one pen against Spurs go our way, which by the letter of the law was correct but absolutely absurd. Then we had one go against us yesterday which to me idiotic but at best it was soft. Let us start hearing the refs too. Let us know how they make their decisions.

"We have shit refs, what should we do?" "Use video technology to rectify mistakes?" "Good idea, who should we use to oversee such a project?" "The shit refs?" "Cool."
-
A combination of our takeover collapsing, the PL "big picture" attempted coup and VARs absolute misuse has made me really wonder whether I have time for this game. Liverpool's offside yesterday was horrible and I cant stand Liverpool.

By a terrible Man United too.
