I used to always be in the stay at St James' camp. But with all the PSR stuff recently, it's made me think we'll never reach the top without a new custom built stadium. It's another negative of PSR really. Clubs have to trade away their heritage and price out their die hard supporters to try and squeeze every penny they can.

Tonali may be quicker than Willock. Apparently in 2021 Tonali recorded fastest sprint in the entirety of Serie A.

I was thinking how we took so much time to make our moves for things like our CEO, CFO and sporting director but Man Utd are just hiring people from everywhere. Our way is frustrating at times, but I feel like it's more likely to lead to consistent success. What Man Utd are doing seems wreckless and poorly thought out. Hopefully it blows up in their face.

Net spend is a bollocks stat without context. Bournemouth got into the PL with a bunch of players that were with them from division 2. They're not going to be able to sell them to reduce their net spend. The players they spend money on would take time before being sold for profit. For example, sell Solanke now and it would balance out a lot of what they spent.
It's like us now. We can't balance our expenditure by selling players because most our players are Ashley era players and aren't worth anything. The only ones worth anything we can't afford to sell.
