There's also very little pathway for him to the first team. Saka and Madueke on the right, then Odegaard, Eze and Dowman in the middle.
-
Quite the opposite for me. I think the talk about him playing in the middle is mental.
-
Would be a pretty ideal signing for that right hand side. He's mates with Lewis Miley too.
-
£80m seems excessive, especially with them being relegated, but they bought him for over £40m, so they were always going to want a significant fee.
-
I think Gordon thinks that he's the dogs bollocks 24/7 tbh.
-
Transfermarkt is just run by regular people. They don't have any special insight. I think we can take it as pretty certain it's €70M + €10M.
-
Betis also have a right winger who has done similar numbers. We should look at him...
-
He's not better than Gordon. Plus, his contract demands will be much higher, and he's older, so they'll not want to be offering him a long contract which will affect amortisation.
-
Yeah, basically if two clubs purchase each others players, you can only use their book value for SCR basis. No profit is allowed. It's to stop those inflated trades that were used a couple years ago to get around PSR. I might be wrong, but I am pretty sure it's true.
-
I think UEFA has put in some bullshit rule that basically makes it impossible for two clubs to purchase players from each other in the same window.
-
Romano has been pushing the €70m fixed fee plus add-ons line all day, everyone else says €80m fixed fee plus add-ons.
-
The article above says they've bid £70m plus addons.
-
England duty will be interesting with Gordon nicking Rashford's place at Barcelona.
-
Did he miss the first leg due to his split allegiances? We'll never know!
-
German media loves to overinflate fees to make Bayern look better when they miss out. They were constantly doing it to Woltemade's fee.

Boy do I have some bad news for you!
-
Red cards aside, I always felt he played well against Liverpool. Against all the big 6 really. I don't know if that's because he's a big game player, or because those are the games we're not playing against a low block, but he was always good in them.
-
I don't think there's any chance we NEED to sell before the deadline. But I am sure it'll help get some early deals done.
-
Another benefit, he's not going to be playing Everton anymore, which was always his kryptonite.
-
I've realised how this deal makes sense. Can you imagine how many penalties he's going to win when it's Barcelona he's diving for?
-
Let's hope we can get ourselves a good old fashioned bidding war. Or maybe we're the ones paying the pasta nonce to put out fake stories to get Bayern to pay up.
-
Because for the amount we'd get for Elanga, we'd actually probably have less to spend after selling him under SCR rules.

Instead playing a 21 year old because the 23 year old and 20 year old are injured.
