  1. Is this lad from Senegal or France. MMMMmmmmmmmm
  2. His nationality is French, his blood and heritage are West African, it is his choice as to which should be represented. He is both of these things. If he was born and raised in France he may see himself as Senegalise but he will never be 'from' Senegal
  3. There have been a couple of articles where a bonus dispute has been alluded to. Wonder what the craic is. It can't be as simple as being upset at being offered money for finishing in the top 10. Was it half a million quid that the backroom staff were meant to be getting. Maybe the players were offered more and then it was changed??? Worrying if there was some kind of revolt beacause even if Nolan led it there will be a fair few left at the club who were involved.

    End of Season DVD?

Yeah, like not scoring in our first 4 games, then going 12 games without a win or whatever. Yes they were the ones I was thinking of. i've just reappraised the season though and stumbled upon Shearer's testimonial, qualifying for Europe and beating the Mackem's 4-1. How wrong I was.

    Sam Allardyce

From the bigsam twitter: "Typical. A few minutes of innocently sniffing the toilet seat in Karren Brady's office and now I've got Herpes labialis all over my mouth." The guy behind that twitter is f***ing amazing.

    Sunderland...

The outside of the stadium is particularly grubby, really could do with washing all the moss/ algae off the outside of the stands. It's very noticeable on the east stand/ Leazes End. New dugouts and padded seats in the corporates tho'.
  9. They all do that these days.

  15. That because you're a proper morbid c***? Exactly. I can't believe how someone can be so negative. I bet taxfree thought we'd never get Marveaux after Liverpool went for him, and the same with Ba and Everton. For whatever reason, we seem to be able to sign some decent/highly-rated players this window and we're not going for cast-offs from big clubs who are moving only for the money. The three guys we've signed so far are at the perfect age, yet to peak and all have mentioned how they're looking forward to the challenge. This is not Duff signing for us because Chelsea don't want him. We've signed three players who wanted to move on from their respective clubs and chose to move to us. I think that says a lot and I am quite optimistic that we can finish this window by signing another winger, a striker and a central midfielder - and replace anyone who leaves us - which will leave us with a starting eleven that can beat the likes of Liverpool and Spurs on our day. We don't have the squad to compete for 5th or 6th, but if we're lucky with injuries then it's not out of reach, at all. We did beat Liverpool and very nearly Spurs last year. I think what these signings wil hopefully give us (allied to others and hopefully not too many key departures) is the quality and squad depth to compete consistently

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Never knew about this - just seen on Maxi foot French and foreign Football Info LiveScore - football Forum - sheets L1 clubs - table transfer L1 Miscellaneous: Ben Arfa wants to retrieve its (17/06/2011) Conflict about a financial case for five years now, offensive midfielder for Newcastle Hatem Ben Arfa (24 years, 4 games and 1 goal first League in the season 2010-11) and his former club, Olympique Lyonnais, would have to go before the Council of the labor on February 10, 2012. No agreement could be found this Friday before the labor conciliation board. In 2007, Ben Arfa was fined a total of EUR 100 000 on the part of rhodaniens leaders for insulting a referee at a meeting of CFA. The French international has already recovered 48 000 euros on the part of his former employer but would like to obtain the total reimbursement of the fine. (By Romain Boselli)

  22. I'd have gladly taken £3million that we originally turned down. Says more about you tbh. Yeah dumb old me who didn't want to sell Zog for £6million and now we are looking at paying double to buy him back. Has f*** all to do with this. Maybe we'll pay 8m for Nolan in 2013
