I see this seasona sone of improvement - using our resources shrewdly to get a top 6 place and European football. Then we'll be in a much better position to attract the real top players next year. You can't expect to attract top drawer players just yet. We need to sensibly accumulate a squad (something that has been seriously depleted over the last 3 or 4 years) and big Sam seems to have made an excellent start to this end.
