No, I watched him, and at times thought he was decent. He was 'absolute rubbish' at times but at others, such as when he was being played at right back and left back by souness/ Roeder, we was solid and obdurate. People are allowed objective opinions you know

Fair play Mick, hope you're right as I like the idea of having a sanguine and balanced owner. We do need the different parts of our structure to be worki ng together though

I hope to god the rags carry these quotes in the morning and eat their own s***. My point was more to do with the fact that the rags would be fairly unlikely to dig up 2 day old quotes, relate them to todays meeting, self flagellate and then (bizarrely) eat their own shite as suggested

It doesn't make them not the truth! True Jonny, but why wet our collective pants over them now? smiley

It's common sense that we can't immediately attain top 4 status. Ashley was probably miffed that it was raised in the way it was (I'm a realist and a pragmatist and I must admit it took me aback a bit) and he probably wasn't happy with the personalised nature of the comments about communication. He might also have wanted to get Wise and KK working more coherently together. For better or for worse Kev's coments have stirred up a hornets nest and something needed to happen as a consequence.

But we were only going to spend 6m roughly on Modric this year. 3 players of his level plus the money from Shola and the og, plus a bosman or two using Carr'/ Ramage's/ Diatta's wages and I'd be well happy. Lets wait and see what might constitute a disaster

Sounds like an EXCLUSIVE

To be fair I was surprised how every paer had such lucid details of the time and location of the meeting today. I think something of the meeting will be made public, but i'm pretty sceptical regarding this mail report. Tory cnuts

From the Daily mail and reporting that there have already been 6 weeks of negotiations. Now we know this is shite. brace yourselves for more spurious nonsense this w/e

I think he'd make a decent defender in a lower level premiership team given a run of games. it wasn't all West ham and Birmingham with him you know. He was pretty solid at times but was all too often played out of position and rushed back from injury. A good solid defender in my view, just not quite up to the standard of a top team.

Obsessed those lads. He's a top player and all that but I'm not sure I'd go that far. Having said that the 'yesterday' song is genius

Fiction maybe, but science?

Owen's passing has been exemplary. Agree with all of the post above
-
Agree on Adams I've noticed that too. Incidentally they've kept more clean sheets than Arsenal! Wonder where and when I picked up that factoid

To be fair in his next breath he said that the West Ham fans are similar. Playing it safe like

Not much has happened bar people asking if anything has happened

no, nor the spuds game

Interesting last point. I can ultimately see Keegan's appointment being more successful. Basically because he will have the 2 things you say Roeder lacked a) a transfer pot and b) some people to find better players. You really should keep up
