  1. Agreed. Also from a squad strength (in depth) perspective selling him now makes little sense, whilst Hall has not yet even made his debut. I’d revisit the situation in January.
  2. Had a look, but seems DFDS have stopped doing these trips including ticet this year.
  3. I imagine it would aye. On the other hand, if you want to grow revenue you might want to cater for international fans, who would probably be willing to spend more on a per match basis than locals (thinking club shop sales, etc.) Under the current system it’s practically impossible for fans from abroad to plan a trip to come and take in a game. Imagine the scenes if Newcastle play abroad (not hard at this moment in time) and as fans you would only know a week in advance if you were succesful in getting a ticket. Would you book travel and accommodation in advance? When I lived in Newcastle there was a waiting list for season tickets. Looks like demand once again far outstrips supply. A SJP expansion can’t come soon enough.
  4. https://www.nufc.co.uk/news/latest-news/newcastle-united-sign-lewis-hall/ official
  5. Still waiting for a response by the club and still none the wiser after reading the above. Maybe the box office themselves don’t know how to treat international members’ ticket requests.
  6. Sigh, should have gone to that #BoycottSpurs game when I had the chance
  7. Trying to get my head around this. Coming over weekend of the Palace home game and want to get tickets for myself and my boy, also wife and daughter if possible, for a one off game obviously. I’d need to first buy “international memberships” at GBP37 a pop per adult and GBP20 per child (or GBP114 total!) and then enter the balot and hope for the best. Is that right? What happens if I can’t get tickets through the balot..? Or does balot not apply to international members, seeing as the description is different here, i.e. “Access to home match tickets (terms and conditions apply)” as opposed to “Priority access to tickets to home matches via a ballot - STRICTLY ONE TICKET PER MEMBER” for local members..? Probably also relevant for @Kanji, @cubaricho, @SEMTEXand others coming over from afar for the Lockwood Cup. edit: asked the question to boxoffice via mail. Will let yous know if I get a response.
  8. I’m thinking Sandman opposite SJP, or the Holiday Inn near Life.
  9. So I've been looking into travel and accommodation and the current plan is to make it a four day trip, taking the ferry on the way in, arriving Thursday morning, and returning by plane Sunday afternoon. Would be good to meet up with some of you former dissidents, certainly on Saturday (will pack my kit and be a reserve player in case anyone drops out just in case @LFEE), but also possible on Thursday or Friday evening? What are the plans in terms of pre or post match drinks on Saturday? Also I would love to take my boy Arthur to see the game on Saturday if at all possible. I assume that entails getting memberships and entering the ballot nowadays?
  10. They so remind me of us under Ashley
  11. It’s a bit like yesterday’s game really, this. Spain are in control and England just can’t get anywhere near producing a real threat.
  12. I disagree. Saw most of the game and she’s been fine overall imo. Their striker should have been cautioned again for kicking the ball away though, by the rules of the game. Spain are time wasting a wee bit, as would any team in their situation.
