  1. He was looking straight at him right before he planted his foot on him like
  2. How has VAR not pulled that moment with Godfrey back? Horrific decision
  3. WTF is that Godfrey lad doing. Off surely?
  4. What makes this situation different?
  5. Agree with the fist pumping, but where else should he celebrate the goal?
  6. I think he even blew the whistle after the ball crossed the line. Otherwise it might have had a chance of being pulled back on the grounds of De Gea somehow not reacting because play was stopped.
  7. If a defender pulls up when chasing an attacker and the attacker scores, should that be pulled back or "corrrected" in the interest of fairness? Or when a goalkeeper gets floored by their own defender in a desperate attempt to stop an attacker from scoring? Where would it end? Man Utd had a player injure another of their players. Arsenal are under no moral obligation to do them a favour. It's a completely normal part of the game.
  8. God, I hope this finishes 0-1
  9. How are Arsenal not protesting this?
  10. No justification at all for not giving it.
  11. Credit where it's due, Joelinton has been the diamond in the rough these last few games. Still don't see a PL striker in him, but he could yet serve a purpose to this club, which is more than I imagined before Howe came in.
  12. Unless he can get Lascelles back to a respectable performance level, like he had under Rafa. I mean, we've all seen Joelinton and to a lesser extent Shelvey play out of their skin the last few games, so I wouldn't rule it out completely, but I agree for now the first team places should belong to the back five we ended yesterday's game with.
  13. I'm aware that patience is required and that testing positive will have complicated matters for him, but we can't really afford much of it. We've managed to collect two meagre points in two home games against promoted sides favourites for going down again, (plus Arsenal away). Burnley at the weekend is now an absolute must win game for the club and the new manager, or all momentum and positivity could be quickly lost what with our horrible fixture list for the rest of December.
  14. Up to a 7. Don't win on Saturday and I'm up to a 9.
  15. Shit result. Not good enough. Relegation is edging closer.
