The start of the first half wasn't that bad tbh. We did fall apart after their first goal though. All in all, Arsenal were only the better team for 25 or so minutes, but in that time they could have scored five.

Tough to call how this will pan out, but I don't think giving it him until the end of the season will help. He doesn't know the league, or indeed his players, yet he has to hit the ground running. On top of that, there's nothing much in it for him whether they stay up or go down. He's a decent manager, but I don't think he will be able to turn their horrendous form around.

His reputation in Holland is that he will do anything if he gets paid enough. Should fit in well. I don't particularly rate him as a manager. His defining moment as NT manager was taking off an unstoppable Arjen Robben vs Chech Republic in the 2004 Euros, resulting in a 3-2 loss after leading 2-0. Wouldn't want him here, even in our current predicament.
