All the options in the poll and every other realistic option I can think of seem very uninspiring to me. Whoever we turn to next, I want it to be a youngish manager with a clear attacking football mentality. None of the also rans mentioned please, no matter ho well they may have done in the (distant) past.

He's been shown up this season as a defensive minded manager uncapable of implementing an effective gameplan, but let's not pretend he's not been let down by some of his supposed better players, most of whom have not played anywhere near the standard they should be capable of. Ultimately though, the buck stops with him of course.

Up until this week I was of the opinion that after one season of overachievement, followed by one of underachievement, he was entitled to at least another half of the season to see what he could do with a better squad and a less demanding roster of games due to no Europe. However, after this week I'm not so sure. Feels like it would be delaying the inevitable. Will be very interesting to see what Mike and Dekka will do. Still can't realistically see them pulling the plug after the PR stuff about stability they came out with after they handed him and the backroom staff those 8 year contracts.

Aye, was a great move. Personally don't think he missed any chances you would really expect your striker to score today, and he was obviously incredibly unlucky to see a goal chalked off incorrectly. I however remain worried about there being enough goals in this team playing the 4-3-3 essentially build around him from an attacking perspective.

I obviously put I'm aware of him not being a striker. Byt since you asked, Michu is a much more technical player than Cisse, and he has also scored more this season. But having Cisse over Tevez is absolute mental. Tevez is one of the world's best players. I'd have Tevez over Cisse 10 times of the week and I love Cisse. FWIW, this discussion still proves that Unbelievable underrates Cisse a lot. You're discussing whether Cisse is better than Tevez or not and this serves to illustrate how I underrate Cisse..?
