If there was the option of: World Class English Manager or World Class Foreign Manager ... i'd go for the English one. --- If there was the option of: Average-to-bad English Manager or World Class Foreign Manager ... i'd go for the foreign one.

Annoyed about the back. But the front i just like more and more, and now that the blue trim is definitely indentifiable, i really do think it's great.

Jeeesus Christ.

Gar... not what i was hoping for. Gone the same way as Reading and Sheffield United. Shit. Will look absolutely shit un-personalised. Glad i'm getting it personalised.
-
Thanks... that's what's meant to happen then? Just seemed a bit abrupt; no confirmation sign or anything just stumped me a little bit.

Don't want go spending £10m+ on a player, agreed, because that's likely to damage the vast majority of whatever budget we have. However, i'd gladly see us pay up to £9m or so for someone like Baines, who's top class and will be even better, and will solve our weakest area of the entire team. That's the truth - it's the worst part of our whole squad, is left-back, and i'd rather we solved it properly, than continue to throw shitty, nothing money away on shitty, nothing wing-backs. Which is what we've done for years. Get it sorted. If we're going to blow significant money on one particular position this summer, please God let it be on a wing-back.

Just pre-ordered the shirt... Sent me through all the hoo-har (i've never ordered of Newcastle Direct), and the last page was all the credit card details. When i finished that it just sent me straight back to the home page of Newcastle Direct. Do i not get some sort of confirmation?

Yet to believe that Michael Owen actually plays for us.

Personally have always thought the Adidas stripes look really good. And after all - it resembles black and white stripes. What i don't like is lots of sponsors here and there, and silly piping that doesn't resemble anything (the Diadora spots on some kits' sleeves in-particular confuse me), which i feel can somewhat spoil the heritage of kits. Hardly 'make a mockery of the tradition', but it's certainly a shame in some cases.

Would rather he won it on his own merit, rather than by some chilidish fellas pleading the Prime Minister for acceptance.

At Biggs. You're on about Giles Barnes. Who i'd also love to see at Newcastle, incidentally. Been an admirer all season.
-
It's got a blue trim. Pretty much it really.
-
Bizarre really how they couldn't just put a kit on the poor bloke, mind.
-
Think i might reserve my judgement a little bit longer. Would like to see some genuine photos of the kit first, but i think it'll look good. Had been pleased with how it was progressing, liking the black, until i saw the shorts. But i don't buy the shorts anyway so will just wait and see!
-
Just so you're not trawling back through pages. They screw up??
-
They really have made a complete cock-end of the whole thing. Not only announced it 12 hours too early, not only ruined their big fing altogether, but they couldn't even get a kit for the bastard to wear.
-
Could have been a really smashing kit that if it wasnt for the stupid piping on the shorts, and to some extent, the two knobs that hang down on either side. Wonder if the Adidas stripes are embroidered...
-
The whole front looks like a prototype tbh... You can see cut lines all over the place and like i say, the middle stripe's weird.
-
It actually looks like a photoshop tbh. You can see how the middle white stripe is totally off centre at the top.
-
Hahaha they fucked up! Stripes look weird at the top. Don't like how they stop dead like that. And what are thsoe weird knob looking things that hang down at either side? Hmm. Looks alright though, i reckon.
-
I've had four cups of coffee, just so i don't miss what the top of the shorts look like.
-
I know you did, I was really just commenting on the Heinze aspect. BTW, I think you're definitely better than Joint Last Best Writer! Thanks.

I agreed with you about him going to Man U.
