Why are we fkcing around with left backs ffs!! Get the main course already!!

Pardew is such a throwback nature has forgotten to throw-him-back.

Can someone explain to me why so many of them are so rubbish? This place has given me a slight hatred of Norway in particular. Apologies to the good ones that we do have, but some of your compatriots are absolute divvies. It's cause those countries are run by lesbian women. [/assange]

Managers tend not to say they have loads of money when they are going to be negotiating for players.
-
Fernandes has said they the long term plan is to get into the CL.
-
To me Gomis looks ponderous and slow with little pitch sense. Just an athletic lad who scores now and again. Leave alone.
-
Just say to Swansea here's £5m give us Laudrup.

This has been the nuclear strike of the Jan window.

1. Show Remy the money. 2. Show Remy video of our laughable hoofball game. 3. Tell him if they go down he can leave for £5m and get a mega signing on fee elsewhere. Make a big cuppa and put feet up.

How do you know we're not? Do you really think they're all sat back in their plush chairs going "meh, whatever"? If QPR paid him more per week, then fair do's to them. Like it or not, our club and its owner do business in a certain way, and he's well within his right seeing as he owns the damn thing. The Remy thing wasn't a charade (nowhere near the Ruiz debacle). He just chose someone else over us. We'll have other targets lined up. Next season's money is too good for fatty to f*** this one up. This fact is the only thing keeping me sane at the moment. I hope you're right obviously.
-
You can all hide in a dark cupboard and spew nonsense but QPR are doing everything in their power to stay up...Are we?
-
Yeah, the new guy has a great track record in this area. Would take him over Ashley. He's already got a better manager.

That idiot fernandes.. International Herald Tribune Award for the "Visionaries & Leadership Series", for his outstanding work in AirAsia; "Malaysian CEO of the Year 2003" in December 2003 — so far awarded to only nine other recipients in the country, by American Express and Business Times. The award was an initiative to recognize entrepreneurial and managerial expertise and performance among leaders of Malaysian corporations. Named the joint winner of the CEO of the Year 2003 award by American Express Corporate Services and Business Times. "Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year" in the Ernst & Young "Entrepreneur Of The Year Awards" in 2003; Made the list of Business Week's "25 Stars of Asia" in 2005. Malaysian Ernst & Young "Entrepreneur of the Year 2006" "Excellence In Leadership - Asia Pacific Leadership Awards 2009" 2010 Forbes Asia businessman of the year[30] 2011 No. 52, in FastCompany Top 100 Most Creative People in Business.[31]

fernandes doesn't have THAT much money. He won't support them in 5 years time. They have to be in the CL with the wages they have within a few years. Ah right, I assumed his ability to spend on QPR was pretty much unlimited. If he needs a return any time soon he's running a massive risk. Nope he's worth around 500m. That's a 1/3 of Ashley's worth. Only way a club like QPR can sustain 80k p/w for players is Champions League. Fernandes expected midtable this season. There's no way he can support 20m losses year on year. They've got Singapore airlines on the run in what a couple of years? Don't underestimate fat boy Fernandes.

Exactly - he'll have spent his entire net worth within a year or two at this rate. Can't see them getting much debt from banks. It is a disaster waiting to happen. Yeah they'll never get sponsorhip from Wonga...They're doomed.

Yes they are. Portsmouth had a new stadium in the pipeline. Portsmouth actively were looking for extra sponsors and thought buying success now would buy them guaranteed future which was completely wrong. They still went he same way as Leeds. Which QPR will do when they get relegated. Fernandez is way smarter than anyone who was ever connected to Pompey. History is littered with the still smouldering corpses of clever, rich men who went into football club ownership and still got burned. Fernandes has more brains than the whole of our management put together. More so he is an inspirational character like a Branson. He really isn't. You want to have a look at the speech he gave at Airbus last year.

When you're bottom of the league you have no choice but to gamble. He'll be on a free if they go down. A deal comprising a ten million plus euro transfer fee plus the players/agents contract and fees, for what would be four months work if, as the bookmakers think they will go down, would seriously contradict what you said about Fernandez a couple of posts ago. There will be a release clause but a free would be pure mental. But hey, if he's the golden nugget that's going to keep them up, well done QPR. To put it bluntly if they get the 2 french players and with Harry at it...Their chance of survival just became better than ours at this moment. IF we don't perform in this window we'll go down. A different point but sure, based on those suppositions you may be correct. But the point was a "free" after four months is hardly the work of a genius or "Branson" like businessman. There again I don't think it will be a "free" and if Remy inspires them to stay up it could be the work of a genius. It doesn't fuking matter. They HAVE to gamble.

He was one of the brains at Aol and left when he saw the writing on the wall. He started Air Asia from scratch in one room with no airline licence. If qpr survive in the PL a couple of season they will be a force to be reckoned with. By this logic, we have Ashley, who also built a massive empire from very little. So because he is the 15th wealthiest in the UK, he must know what he is doing running a football club, right? Fernandes corporate nous and structure is on another planet to Mashley..That is abundantly clear to anyone who looks at it for 2 mins. Football isn't an exact science but I know who I'd rather own our club. Mashley is a poor communicator - Fernandes by all accounts is loved top to bottom in his companies and ventures. He's an economist and astute model builder for business longevity and structural financial development. It's like comparing a monkey with a typwriter and an IBM. Tbf Ashley's worth more than Fernandes. on that basis alone, he's a better businessman. Yeah but one of them qenuinely is excited about being in football. I wonder who?

Wish we had Bill Gates running the club, he built Microsoft from his garage, so would be great running a football club I repeat if Qpr get the 2 french players I'd bet on them staying up...

He's 27 not 23. His type of player - pace and athelticism tend to decline quickly as they approach their 30's. He needs the money now. So what do you do? Bend to his demands? What's the difference in what you were offering and what they did? You could equally say that if he's that type of player, he needs the money because he's going to decline, as you said, which doubly makes him one to avoid, especially at that cost. Nothing we can do. We have to stick to our wage structure, but that doesn't mean fernandes and qpr are monkeys like some are trying to say... If they're so clever then how are they sitting bottom of the league in the first place? Fernandes appointed the last manager and along with that manager bought most of the current squad, handing out massive wages to players and agents in the process - which has them sitting bottom and needing to gamble to stay up. Compared to say... the owners of Norwich or Swansea, they have been made to look like total mugs. He also fired the last manager very quickly. He is new to the game and still learning...How long has Ashley been in the game?
