Very interesting bit from Guardian article: Dalglish has taken a risk in defending Suárez so vigorously and so frequently in the 10 weeks since the controversy erupted. Liverpool, their manager and owners, are active supporters of anti‑racism initiatives and it will sit badly with John W Henry and the Fenway Sports Group in Boston to have a player of Suárez's profile found guilty of racist abuse. Liverpool may not have to contend with just punishment from the FA either. Speaking on a local Liverpool radio station on Saturday, Luther Blissett, the former Watford and Milan striker who now works as an ambassador for Show Racism the Red Card, raised the prospect of legal action. Blissett said: "If Suárez is found guilty then you have got to look at supporters who have been found guilty of this sort of thing and people have gone to jail for it. If that is the case, you could anticipate the same sort of thing happening to him. You look at his profile, and people label sportsmen in the public eye as a role model, then it is doubly important they do something about it. If he's found guilty of this then he should be treated just like everybody else. You've got to abide by the law of the land. It doesn't matter how much money you have, the law is the law."

I've done that one a few times now. Ha ha, I just highlighted it to give all the people you've (quite rightly) pulled up for poor spelling and grammar a chance to sneer at you, with it being the season of goodwill and everything . Regarding Ben Arfa, I think for him to be most effective we need to change our style of play quite a bit and for Pardew place a lot of trust in him to put in big performances, we can't play as directly down the wings (as we're trying to at the moment) as we'd be much less effective with him replacing one of the bigger forwards like Best or Shola or Ba. If he gets to play in the hole behind Ba we'd be going through the middle a lot more and relying on Ben Arfa to orchestrate a lot of our final third attacking play, against Chelsea this didn't work too well (Romeu was exceptional and Chelsea were very well organised) but I think it would against the dross, I'd love to see Cabaye, Tiote and Ben Arfa in front of them against Bolton. I can understand Pardew going with Best and Ba, they are effective together and he knows that they'll create chances just through their strength and work rate, but Ben Arfa needs to be given a fair crack against some of the mid-table sides, hopefully tomorrow, and certainly against utter shite like Bolton on boxing day, even just to give us a proper plan B in matches like Swansea where it was clear plan A stopped working rather than just chuck on Sammy and Shola and hope for "a diagonal ball and a header" (that's pretty much exactly what he said as well . Tend to agree, some players are just special enough to be given a chance in actual games. FWIW I think he will come good, if he gets enough 30 minute slots he'll do something brilliant soon enough. He needs a run of games. I can't see how else he will come upto speed. I don't really buy into that bollocks either btw. A HBA at 80-90% is more dangerous than our whole side bar Ba.
