  1. Saurez so far has been KD's touchstone. He will be like a general without his main schemer if this goes bad...Love it when a plan comes together!
  2. Excellent stuff. A nice lengthy ban would be lovely. Go some way to pay him back for all that cheating as well.

    St James' Park

The more you dilute a brand and the more you alienate the core audience the less you can sell its attractivity. Putting all else aside this is a fuck up even on a basic level.
  4. It's a strange period with regard to this. I think what is happenning is that the PL clubs that could push us aside are well stocked with talent already and perhaps of a generally higher calibre and the clubs around us aren't quite the pull we are/are really strapped for cash ie Villa, Everton, Spurs.

Think due to the relative sucess on the pitch people forgot there was a battle of wills still going on. You know the dismantling of the myths KK and Shearer..The tacky logos...The endless stream of horshit and lies...That silly grin.... It's funny how it all seemed to die down though. The good results created a feelgood factor around the ground, the season ticket deal was popular, the ground filled up, the good results continued, the training day was popular.......... then BAM - we're changing the name of the ground - fuck you all. BAM - we think Shearer, Keegan and Hughton are all cunts and Carroll's dogshit. Fuck you all. And we've got City away next weekend. You couldn't make it up man. Tarantino would be hard pushed to come up with this shit.

If I was a conspiracy theory nut I'd say someone is trying to break the will of the geordie nation.
  9. These Carroll 'comments' have in a strange way put more pressure on KD. Although they are ridiculous I notice on Liv forums today a lot of anxiety.

  12. He's been busy with the Greek debt...He's transferring it to Liverpool.
  13. Players thrown together on a whimsy.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

He'll come good, but it will take time and we must be patient. He has been.
  15. Paid 20m for someone slightly better than Sameobi. I think they bought him for Carroll. In theory him crossing in for Carroll should be dynamite. In reality though it's a £55 million pile of shite.
  16. Paid 20m for someone slightly better than Sameobi.
  17. Spurs are better than Liv. Better allround side. Gerrard is nearly finished and the inj are catching up with him now. He has basically been the main driving force for a while now.
  18. Even Dalglish said they were shit. Slowly but surely it is beginning to dawn....
  19. No chance, I'd be going fucking mental if we spent £35m on such a player. It would be like spending £35m on Obertan, imagine my reaction. Carroll's progression at our club was insane to the extent that he was beginning to look like a world beater when he left us. Not sure why you're so down on him, me and every fucker I knew thought he was ace. The move to Liverpool just looks really badly advised, who knows whether he'd have carried on his upward trajectory if he stayed at the club but I think he'd be playing a hell of a lot better than he is at present. There's a bad feeling around the situation from all sides at the moment, can't see a player as daft as Carroll turning the situation around tbh and would imagine it ends with him leaving for less than half the price next summer or the one after. He's not going to make it at Liverpool cause Liverpool aren't going to make it this season either.
  20. Spurs completely dominated by Fulham for 45min.
  21. They seem to start slowly most games. Keep it tight and the first hurdle would be to keep them out for the first 45min.
  22. Apparently they should be given goals for hitting the woodwork. Another bugbear for the red dippers.
  23. Thats the rub of it, even the scouser i work with says the players were a disgrace toward the end of Roys job there, he reckoned Roy lost the players but not so sure myself. The difference in the levels of effort, enthusiasm and commitment of the players for Hodgson compared to Dalglish was embarrassing. The LFC players got Hodgson the sack because didn't give a f*** when he was boss, as soon as Dalglish took over they were suddenly running through brick walls for him. It was disgusting to see. They cheated their boss and their own fans. Absolutely hate the c***s. That is so wrong. The two most important players at the club (at that time) were Carragher and Gerrard, both wanted him for the manager before he came, and both championed him at every opportunity. The other players for the most part supported him also. Torres wasn't impressed with him neither was Pepe Reina, in the latters case more because he wanted to turn him into a more English type GK. Far from the players and fans cheating him, he was the biggest cheat of a football manager I've seen. His interviews from day one were atrocious, always praising himself and making out how lucky any club were to get him. His conceit and arrogance was breathtaking at times. Sorry to interrupt the hate fest with a bit of realism lads. Yeah but did King Kenny want him?
  24. Dalglish will be looking for scapegoats soon enough.
