Various: Mike Ashley in talks with Sheikh Khaled bin Zayed Al Nehayan

Not going to pretend to be completely up on American sports but always seen a parallel between us and the Colorado Rockies. They're "my" baseball team. No honours, loyal fanbase more than the 'success' on the field warrants, revolving door of managers lack of investment and owners in it for themselves. -

'Mr Jimenez says Mr Ashley came to see him at 4 am on 17 September 2008 in a panic worried about being locked up in Dubai and facing adverse press reporting in the UK.'[/b] And folk still think he doesn't care what people think of him! -

Wanted a new no.10. -
Sorry for your loss. Touch of class from Rafa. Hope it brings some kind of comfort.

Probably the drink talking but best thing for the club would be for him to chuck it AND unload in the press on Ashley and his fucktard cronies.

Rafa's still the man but has to take some responsibility for that turgid shite.

At the match. Think its first time iv seen him play "in the flesh"... Hope it's the last.

And those daft cunts didn't take him to the world cup!?

Just finished watching it myself today. Cried like I'd just lost my dad. If anyone hasn't seen it yet just watch it! To think where he had this club and compare it to where it is now.... :'(

Yep, we can play in 4 quarters, have an advert break every 5 minutes and change the goal to the net-zone if it means Ashley and all his works are purged from the club Net-Zone The Jos still wouldn't score! -

Nine hours after he goes Newcastle will be a "dry" city! -
Lush Just seen this on bbc website: And interestingly, only one club that has sacked their manager in October or November during the past decade has gone on to finish lower than their position at the time of the dismissal - West Brom last season.

Just looked at the table (for only the second time since the start of the season)..... cannae believe we're only 3 points from "safety". Haven't watched any other teams but they must be feckin horrific if they're down with us and not had the fixtures we've had. That's the only thing that's stopping me from voting for a '10'. On the down-side.....those three points might have to come in the form of three score-less draws. Can't see us winning a match anytime soon.
