  1. In all honesty they've turned out to be two shit buys for a variety of reasons. What's your point? My point is most of people on here are so critical of Luque but hardly a thing is said about the other 2 and I'm just wondering why they are so critical of him and not the others I don't see to many Owen bashing threads on hear, sometimes maybe Dyer but never with same intensity as with Luque and I'm not saying you are one of them who doesn't crititisize them but the fact is the majority of the people love to give Luque shit but say nothing about the other two.
  2. Basically you could say the same thing about Owen he hasn't played that much really and for the 17 million price tag thats quite a lot of money to spend on a player who hasn't played that much as goes with Dyer so I can't see why everybody is being so crictical of Luque.
  3. Why? It doesn't matter that he did **** all last season, why should it matter if he does **** all between now and January? He should be binned asap. well considering he had an injury like he did I don't think there are many players playing today who would recover and do a lot more, so I don't see your point! He'd recovered by Xmas from that first injury, fancy expecting him to do something in those last 5 months of the season eh? So your saying any player would be full off confidence in that situation coming back from one of the worst hamstring injuries possible and when he did play, being booed by certian sections from the Newcastle fans is really good for his confidence, yeah right! No, I take it you can't read. Feel free to point out where I have said that though. I'd have expected more from a player fit by Xmas though. Which games was he boo'ed at by the way? I can't remember the the teams off hand we played but I remeber at least 2 games he was being booed from certian sections even I could hear it over the internet listening to the games which I think is dispicable if he plays for the Toon no matter who he is you don't boo them.

  6. Gee it's amazing how many people on here think they know whats going on at the club and it's amazing how they think they know what Roeder is thinking or seeing with Luque let's just wait and see if by the January we see nothing from him then by all means off load him.
  7. Definately Scott Parker he's a natural leader

to be fair Michael Owen has scored more than Luque for Newcastle Shola has scored more than Owen so what's your point? Shola's played more than Owen so what's your point? Owen has started more games than Luque and has played more minutes so what's your point? Luque's played more actually I think. Anyway it's not Luque or Ameobi we're talking about, It's Owen. He's better than Luque. Many people slate Luque because he's shown next to nothing and alot has been revealed about his tantrums in training and warm ups before games and his negative attitude, all reports on Owen have been on his great attitude and behaviour Yeah well this is Luques first time playing in another country, where he hardly speaks the language and where he suffered a terrible injury early on. He had to sit in the stands and watch the fans get on the managers case every game (the manager who signed him I might add!) and he must have been wondering what the hell he had let himself in for! Not exactly ideal conditions for him to apply himself a 100%!!! and be happy all the time!!! Spot on with the Luque assesment.

How can this be his fault, no player likes to get injured it's just ridiculous to say that! we all new what we getting when we bought him to the club so I don't have any complaints I think when he gets over these injuries he will be a fantastic asset to our club, then I'll hear all these moaners will be saying what a great player he is for us, when he starts banging in the goals. As the old saying goes, patience is a virtue, so lets all wait and see if the injury is bad or not then and only then can you start thinking about our chances for the next season. Plus I'm sure we will be getting 2 new strikers now!, so Newcastle United will not be revolving around Micheal Owen as it should be.
  12. Yes I feel the same way about Luque he can unleash that brilliance sometimes and be a match winner and I hope we keep him. I think if we can toughen him up a bit without losing his technical skills he'll be a great asset to us, Owen can also be like that many times, quiet as a mouse for most of the game then all of a sudden he pops in two or three goals and wins the match for us
