  2. http://www.independentmillwall.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=93321&start=0 Just read this, some of the comments. Edit - Ah shit, the site isn't working now, some people laughing at the story that Collison's Dad had been killed and making up songs to sing to him about it tonight.
  3. They should have given them more, they gave them about 1000 odd which meant a hell of a lot travelled across without tickets and just caused trouble. If they'd given them more and just increased police prescence in the stadium they could have kept them apart better in and outside and they could have held the Milwall lot back for as long as it took to clear the walk to the tube station.
  4. Watford/Leeds going to ET, come on Watford.
  5. SSN going on about the trouble constantly, fuck off.
  6. How the fuck does anyone break through "500-1000 riot police"? Can't be more than a couple of hundred of fans at most.
  7. More shit to complicate things, get in!
  8. Vermaelen looks to be a class act even at this stage, could be the difference as I think Carragher has been on the slide for a while now. Toure and Gallas were too similar and these two look to complement eachother much better. I really hope Liverpool drop out and either Everton or Spurs get in there. City can fuck off.
  9. Set up nicely for a Gerrard last minute winner then.
  10. Quoted for the lols. WTF does that mean?

Hleb went ages ago. Annoyed if this happens, we'll have no wingers.
  12. My Wolves supporting mate reckons it's 25% too, how old was Lescott when he went to you? I know with Arsenal it is quite common practice to have such high sell on %'s with the young lads. He was 24. Which isn't particularly young I'd say. Yeh, odd one then if it is 25% Tommy Smith is at Reading now having a medical. Shame, would have been a good signing for us. Ah well.
  13. As if anyone expected it to be more than something like this. This is fairly encouraging, I think even if Moat does get in a manager and have 48 hours of the transfer market left, we still might just get away with it. If we get Loven and Campbell in with maybe another 2 signings we'll get away with that squad till Jan. But it is of course imperative we keep everyone else, still a bit nervous though, we're absolutely fucked if it doesn't go through.
  14. Mattis is like the ex girlfriend after they've been dumped. "Thank fuck I'm not going out with him anymore! He was boring anyway!"
  15. How ridiculous is it that even at this stage we're absolutely in the dark as to whether he will decide to stay or that a takeover is imminent? Neither would surprise me but there is little evidence to suggest which way he will go. An absolute farce of a situation, and of a man.
  16. You watch Serie A, right? Have i said something on those lines which include "typical english hooligans, but not italian hooligans?" go to bed kiddie Can you give another example of English hooligans in the past 5 years. Not really typical when it doesn't happen anymore. Nah, I'll not go to bed yet, I might stop up and watch Green Street or Football Factory and make some vague generalisations. I think it was less than 5 years ago that a Stoke stweward lost his eye, once again vs Bham. Millwall vs Hull last year. Cardiff vs Leeds 2002(?) Villa steward died a few years back too vs QPR I think. Sure there is loads more, they are off the top of my head. Don't be stupid enough to think English football no longer has a hooligan element. My mate supports Millwall and said nothing happened there, just a lot of arm waving and a few seats being chucked. Nothing out of the ordinary apparently.
  17. "Talks ongoing" "Hoping to come to a conclusion soon" "We should have a clearer idea by the end of the week" Take your pick.
  18. Who else? Crouch? An absolute no for me. Maybe Carlton Cole if he has a good season.
  19. I'd take Owen if he gets 15 goals for Man Utd, it's a cliché but he could hopefully build up an understanding with Rooney and Carrick and that would give us a huge advantage, even if he's a sub. Rooney Defoe Owen Heskey Would be my four.
