This thread is a bit ridiculous. Those of you rubbishing Spurs chances, I hope you're not all forced to eat humble pie come the end of the season. Don't know that Carroll is going to get many easier chances than the one he tucked away in the first half. The defence was woeful, and he had loads of time to take his shot. How often is that going to happen? That said, it's brilliant seeing this group of lads being up by such a margin in this game.

Sterling performance by the TEAM. It's the TEAM what's winning this for us right now. Immense plaudits must go to Hughton for proving the naysayers (including myself) wrong. Some worrying signs with Perch and Barton in the book already, we'll need to play tightly for much of the second half, because Villa must surely be set to make a comeback in the second half.
