Even better having an airport and a city centre not akin to fucking Tripoli with net curtains.
  2. Agree with this, but not something I'd be comfortable changing - or even able to change. It's the new SMF default unfortunately. Fair enough
  3. Think you've done a cracking job lads. The only thing I preferred from the old version was the 'started by' column. Having the thread starters name where it is now seems a little less slick imho. Otherwise, wicked job.
  4. We won't talk to anyone who says nasty things about us 'Just wish they would shut up'? Boo hoo. Maybe it's you Dekka cos Chris Mort seemed to manage it.

Little rascal who wanted to stay or nasty Dek & Chubbs? You know what's coming.................... Doesn't stop it being cringeworthy as far as I'm concerned. Like I said it becomes disrespectful to all the excellent servants to the club who got muted/negative/no reception from our support if Joey Barton gets his name sung. That's rubbish - the fans have an affiliation with him and if they feel the need to show it/sing it then that's upto them. The fans at the match bear little resemblance to those on here in my experience. I think his affiliation with our support is overplayed and his hero status to be over the top for what he contributed to the club. Hence why I'd find it cringeworthy. I find that fans at the match and those on here both have a wide range of contrasting opinions. For example, the lad that sits infront of me fucking hates Joey Barton whereas our resident German would probably have his children if medically possible. Tis a game of opinions. You'll have to tell the lad in front to boo loudly when we play QPR at home to make his opinion heard then because he'll be drowned out by those cheering imho. FWIW, and you can say what you like about JB, it's never at any stage made any sense to get rid of him for nothing. Something else which would have irked the away following and probably majority of home too. Fans are entitled to have their heroes, and if ours want to make one of Joey Barton fine. The fans can think he was worth £6m if they like but that doesn't change the fact that no decent club was willing to pay money for him. In fact no decent club was even willing to take him for free, otherwise I'm sure he wouldn't have picked QPR as his club of choice. There's the cold hard reality. Where did I say anything about the 'cold hard reality'? I'm suggesting he'll not get any stick on Monday.........that's what the discussion was about.

Thats as maybe but the fans relate to him because he's a rascal who fell out with the board. He'll get a very good reception, like it or not.

    Sunderland...

Which Sunderland players reside in Newcastle? At this point it's probably worth pointing out that Gateshead and Northumberland are not part of Newcastle. most newcastle players live in newcastle and its suburbs, how many sunderland players, for the record, actually live in sunderland? plenty of footballers who have played for both newcastle and sunderland have ended up living in Newcastle city centre. Has a single player from either team EVER lived in sunderland city centre? how come you don't find Newcastle players clamouring to live in Albania on wear? Odd, isnt it? Kieran Richardson and a few SAFC players live(d) in the Echo 24 flats near the Wearmouth Bridge. My mate used to live there and often saw him in the lift. Quinny has a place in there also. Several SAFC players live in the Ashbrooke area of the city, which is very nice and there are a few others in other parts of the city as well. There aren't many in the city centre, but that is perhaps something to do with the fact that there isn't much choice in terms of posh apartments. The majority of those living on the Quayside on Tyneside live in Gateshead (Baltic Quays). I'm not suggesting for a second that some SAFC players don't live or go out in Newcastle (though Darras is in Northumberland in point of fact), but this notion that no SAFC players live, drink or eat on Wearside is just that: a myth. Randy, you talk alot of sense for a mackem. You're an upgrade on the last mong but that sentence is bollocks. Let's be honest here, those players live near Newcastle because that's where everything half decent is. There's no two ways about it so let's not play games.

Same, I won't be going OTT either wayn on Monday. Will be interesting to hear our lot's general reaction, reckon it could be mixed. He'll most definitely get booed. Football fans are far too fickle on the whole. No. Big difference between people on here and those at games, mate. Bang on. He relates to those in the real world who have an affinity with the guy. There's no way he'll get a bad reception off our fans.

You think? No one wanted him on a free transfer, why do you think he's going to go to a better club when he's a year older and you've got to pay a transfer fee if you want him? Fair point but I don't see him lasting at QPR for a variety of reasons and think he'll be attractive to more people next year when other clubs who had already spent their budget this window may find the funds or see a gap that needs plugging that they didn't see this month. Wouldn't even surprise me to see him go abroad.

He'll be at a much better club within the next 12 months.

    Alan Pardew

Its not about making fool of anyone, it just has to do with Accountability. Seeing as Pardew and Dekka rarely do interviews, he has to answer for them being the manager. The fact that he came out with guns blazing claiming a striker would "100% get over the line" ( this is after Ba signed, mind) makes me just that bit less sympathetic towards him having to take the fall. If you cant handle the heat, stay out of the kitchen. Pardew rarely does interviews? He done more interviews than f***ing Parky. Can't keep his gob shut that's his problem. Meant to write Mike, obviously. sorry.

I think it goes a bit deeper than that Ian, doesn't it? The fact he was lined up for yonks beforehand and has a history with the two stooges doesn't aid your point. Nor does it help that if it was a Manager with no links or an ounce of integrity they would have fucked off by now. The best we can hope for? Perhaps. Sad none the less, don't you think?

His opinion is a valid one. You may not like what he has to say but he's been closer to the regime than anyone on this board which gives his views some gravitas.
