I think so, we certainly have better depth, although the quality is still lacking.

Think it’s hard this window personally, for me we need players to come in and be better than whoever they replace in the starting 11. We filled the squad out in the summer and haven’t really seen any benefits from it yet. For me our struggles stem from not improving the starting 11 for a couple of years.

We already have squad type players imo. We should be aiming to sign players who will improve the starting 11.

Absolutely, but can’t be any worse than having no one qualified, like last summer.

At least we have people in the job this summer.

Based on our performances and other games in around them, I’d be amazed if we get more than 6 points. I also think spurs will have a new manager by the time we play them.

Not sure Mateta would be suited to it either tbh, not that we really have a style currently.

He’s been tidy at best, not sure why he hasn’t played more recently mind. I’d like to see him get a run now Joelinton is out.

As of right now though, Ramsey has not been a good signing. He and Elanga have not contributed to a single goal in the prem (maybe one?) and we spent close to 100 million for the pair.

It’s till relatively early days of course, but the signings of Ramsey and Elanga in particular have been disastrous imo. Wissa looks poor as well, Wolt doesn’t look suited to us at all. Hardly a surprise people aren’t happy with the business we have done.

They need to be asking themselves more questions than they ask Howe imo. We should never have been left in a position where Howe had to do the job of manager and DOF.

My issue with them, or rather us signing them, is we seem to not play to any of their strengths. If anything, we have moved further away from the style they are suited to.

He told the club he wanted out before the arsenal away game last season (cunt move). He was always going imo, and in fairness we tried to get Ekitike. If we had, we wouldn’t be having half the problems we have now.

Whilst I agree he is seemingly trying to get us to be more possession based, for me it raises even more questions about the summer window.

I think so, it’s easy to make a plan to play against us because we are very predictable. We set up, and play the same way every game. We even make the same subs most games.

The process driven thing is a load of rubbish imo. It’s the excuse given for them taking an age to do anything.
